This is a great series of coloring videos. Thanks!
Thank you, never thought of scribbling some colour down to use as a palette - great idea for travelling, saves you taking all your pencils!
Using a slightly stiffer brush, like a golden taklon, will help to reduce the sketchy look. My favorite is brush to tip, especially with blending. I love this series, thanks, Courtney!
I’ll have to try that. Thank you
Thanks, Courtney. Lots of useful tips.
I’m going to have to try dipping my pencil in the water. I’ve done the paint brush to pencil tip technique, but never putting the pencil in water!! Thanks for the idea Courtney! ❤️
My favorite medium is watercolor pencils...thanks
Great informative video ❤ thank you for taking the time to learn us Hugs xx
Thanks so much!!!
Great info learning so much !
Thank you. :-)
Thank you so much for doing these videos! I am really enjoying this series and learning.
If you lay down more color, less scribbling, you will get better results. Pencils are a good way for beginners to learn about watercoloring. I have these pencils and have never gotten sketchy results.
I’ll try that. It’s funny how it only happens with certain colors. I guess I need to use these more. Lol. Sometimes I forget what I have
Please, don't dip wood-encased pencils into water---it can lead to rot. No fun. Just an FYI. Thanks for this series, Courtney, & have a lovely day. :o)
Thanks. I never knew that
