Respecting sangathis n mulam of nerval... his reiteration is simply superb and to be followed by learners very obediently.. The flow in depth of subject is widely interrupted with very basic questions. This subject of nerval purely belongs to advanced learning of manodharma. This gem of a musician and his teaching is a boon to keen learners. 🙏
Ajith C How many musicians with his achievement and caliber would agree to conduct such classes, let alone allow what is essentially a lay audience to interrupt, question, argue, and disagree? Do not mistake having strong opinions and being willing to engage and argue with being arrogant. These videos are a goldmine and they are being provided for free.
I agree. In fact, TMK makes a great effort in trying to be humble in his efforts and even in his book attempts to explain and accept some points that are critical of Carnatic music. He is not a man of arrogance, at all. I can say this myself for I had sent him an email about a doubt I had in music and had received an email back in the matter of 12 hours. Please learn to appreciate artists before judging them.
