I know my mother loves me, but differences is seen always between my other sibling. I do point it out here and there. No matter what I try, it seems I’ll never get the 100% love that a mother would give to her child. I yearn for simple hugs and affection. When I look at other daughter mother relationship, I pray that next birth I can have that. It’s a love hate relationship between my mom and I so this was very true. I don’t think it’ll ever change because I’ve tried enough. I’ll always love my mother. When I become a mother, by the grace of God, all I know, I’ll love my kids to the point they’ll run away from me lol. I want to give them so much affection that I couldn’t get emotionally while growing up. Yep, spot on. Moon in Aries in the 8th. I was adopted, only recently reconnected with my biological (and very turbulent) mother who gave me up at 16. She almost aborted me, she drank so that I would just disappear and she wouldn't have to deal with it. But reconnecting with her has made me heal my relationships with the parents who raised me, has healed my relationship to myself. Yes meditation has helped immensely. Just being alone with my body and my mind and letting them reconnect. Gives me time and space to process all of those painful things that happened before I was able to be in control of my life. It's unfair, but learning about and metabolizing those experiences has made me less nervous, less anxious, more aware of how beautiful and abundant my body and spirit are. I think Moon in the 8th house is a gift! Now my boundaries are thick as fuq and I only allow energy that is renewable and loving (i.e. not draining) around me.
In my case it is true. I lost my mother when I was 14... my mother was very emotional, very nurturing, moody, and a bit controlling, but we were very close, and I was very happy. It was like taking a part from me, you never get pass through it... but I always believed in the occult and that we have souls, this childhood strange belief always helped me. I truly believe she still exists... and maybe we will meet again. I like astrology, tarot, esoteric and occult stuff, psychology... I'm very sensitive and emotional but I'm also very resilient emotionally. I think we that have the moon in the 8th house are like the Phoenix... always rising from the ashes. i have moon in the eighth house, but because my saturn is in its own sign in the fourth house as well, my mother is the pillar of my life and she has been the biggest influence in every right thing that I do. astrology is a complicated matter :)
People with this placement, especially in Scorpio, should watch out for letting their emotions get stuck in the "dark side". It can cause a lot of chaos to their relationships. My good friend has this placement in Scorpio. Due to some events, she changed to become very negative.
I have moon in scorpio in my 8th house and I am not like that. I’m the one who wakes up the next day forgetting what has happened with anyone. Sometimes I hate it because I need to stay angry in order to show the person if they have hurt me. But I guess that’s just me, i forgive and forget. She's mostly emotionally unavailable even if she is physically present. I always longed for her love but never got it. And when I was younger I tried committing suicide and you know what my mother did when she visited me in the hospital, she slapped me twice and left... when I was younger I thought I deserved it all but I know now all I wanted was someone to listen to me and help me. I have hurt them too by running away when I was younnger but I realize now i did it to get their attention, so they would run after me.. My father and her have been fighting and living separate all their lives.

I already knew the accuracy of astrology but THIS is on an absolutely different level. My mother was a highly functioning schizophrenic her whole life so lots of ups and downs even tho she seemed normal. But unfortunately when I was in high school she suffered a mental breakdown and had full on schizophrenia psychosis and the mother I knew was gone. I have moon in the 8th house, conjunct Uranus and Jupiter. All in Sagittarius. My mother died when I was 16. Before I was born she was in the Army in intelligence but couldn't ever say exactly what she did. Her army friend who did what she did went on to be well ranked in the Pentagon. She was an excellent mother. Scary smart though and nothing got past her. She was highly intuitive, her mother was very psychic and I am also intuitive. My life had been crazy with many ups and downs although I seem to stay pretty stable because I am highly spiritual and it is my spiritual center that gives me strength. I have always had an interest in the occult and love to know the secrets of the universe. I have had strokes of great luck and sudden losses. I lost both parents by the age of 30 and have helped quite a few at end of life. I still don't know what to do with my life and kind of like that.

In a vedic chart, I have my moon in the 8th house, in Scorpio. There's definitely an interest towards mysticism and the occult, and also a deep emotional way of "feeling". The 8th House represent foremost, spirituality. My moon is in Virgo also my Northnode and when I dream they do come true. I have had several dreams where my mother told me things about my ex-husband, even my boss and they all come true. My mother is now gone on to be with God, but she was very much psychic, She would say things and they would come true. I always wanted to talk to her about so many things, especially my dreams but never gotten that chance. I left my country after I got married and because of circumstances I never get to visit as often as I would have like and there was always so many other things to talk about on the phone that there was no time to talk about dreams. Well I'm a person with the Sun in the WOW 10th house then this special gift of an 8th house ridiculous moon you can understand why WOW comes easy for me. I'm 60 now and I actually scare people with this 8th house arrangement these days I have to laugh after your lecture. Supposedly I'm crazy lol. My son has Sag moon and Saturn conjunction in the 8h. My jupiter conjuncts his moon by almost exact degree and our moons oppose. So I like to think he choose an occultist mom more than the negatives. I am a single mom so there is a lot of emotional ups and downs for me. I look at his chart to see how I can help because it’s a difficult placement especially in mula. But so far he’s a happy kid.

Ok this is scarily accurate! I have an Aquarius moon in the 8th house. I am a nurse. I have to isolate myself in order to “recharge” my energy and my mind. I’ve always been spiritual but as of the last two years or so, I’ve been diving deep into spirituality including manifestation, past-life regression, meditation, etc.

Weird example but this is my moon placement- I randomly get super attached to a job and really want to hear back from the recruiter. I hate all the other jobs. Advice about meditating is top tier. I'm 8th house moon in pisces under revati pada 4 nakshatra , every time I go long periods without grouding myself I become insane/disoriented. It's like immaturity and maturity in the same body. My mom was also very bipolar and relationship with her is a toss of a coin. Now I pursue a degree in psychology because the mind and soul are the 2 most important things to me. I also have Jupiter in my ascendant in leo , purva phalguni, so I'd hope that helps nullify it but probably not 😞

Moon in 8th house person here ,it really is not a good experience for me emotionally, along with saturn in twelfth house I really don't have a clue why my higher self took such a hard life mentally and emotionally to live, it's pure emotional suffering with little in-betweens of extremely great lucky moments (breaks) in life but very short lived great moments, I'm lost😭
You are speaking to me right now. My Mom and I were oil and water. But I am happy that we got closer before she passed away. I am still going back and fourth with the emotional trauma we had when I was growing up. She also put me in foster care. Which for her was an act of love. Which I can understand. I have moon in scorp and my moon in8th house, I feel and have felt the same exact way for a long time. But what Ive learned is that God/the universe has given us this placement so that we can triumph through the suffering and reach a deeper understanding of what is truly important. With this placement we have the ability to gain a knowledge of life that most cant even begin to grasp. It is our choice to either become enlightened and share this light with others or to self destruct.
My brother has this Moon placement, along with Jupiter (Cancer ascendant)... And my Moon is in the 6th with Mars.. You can see the pattern :p Our mother is problematic (also caretakers and authorities in general). The criteria for her to be proud of us was for us to become chefs or musicians, but she never pushed us in those directions in any way. She just expected her children to miraculously make it without ever supporting us emotionally. Our parents think that giving us a home and food on the table is more than enough :/ She doesn't see the suffering that we've been through and literally thinks she has the perfect family, while at the same time she would choose her husband over her children if she could.. Coming back to my brother, his relationship is worse than mine. She's very critical, very harsh.. she just speeks badly about him. She's indeed hot and cold, sometimes she'll be generous and kind with him providing food and stuff and the next time there will be a big fight and she'll be mean and cold.. She sends mixed signals all the time. Interestingly my brother and I both have Saturn in the 5th and now I can see the link.. because of what happened to us and how our parents see us we feel like parenting is a burden, a heavy responsability, too heavy.. we don't want our children to go through the same things, in fact we don't even really want children because of that. We were not loved so we don't know how to love and take care of our children in a balanced and responsible way. We would prefer to escape this situation.. I know my mother loves me, but differences is seen always between my other sibling. I do point it out here and there. No matter what I try, it seems I’ll never get the 100% love that a mother would give to her child. I yearn for simple hugs and affection.
When I look at other daughter mother relationship, I pray that next birth I can have that. It’s a love hate relationship between my mom and I so this was very true. I don’t think it’ll ever change because I’ve tried enough. I’ll always love my mother.
When I become a mother, by the grace of God, all I know, I’ll love my kids to the point they’ll run away from me lol. I want to give them so much affection that I couldn’t get emotionally while growing up. My mother didn’t realize that it’s the simple things that make a huge difference to a child when growing up, mentally and physically especially for a daughter.

I was adopted, only recently reconnected with my biological (and very turbulent) mother who gave me up at 16. She almost aborted me, she drank so that I would just disappear and she wouldn't have to deal with it.
But reconnecting with her has made me heal my relationships with the parents who raised me, has healed my relationship to myself. Yes meditation has helped immensely. Just being alone with my body and my mind and letting them reconnect. Gives me time and space to process all of those painful things that happened before I was able to be in control of my life. It's unfair, but learning about and metabolizing those experiences has made me less nervous, less anxious, more aware of how beautiful and abundant my body and spirit are. I think Moon in the 8th house is a gift! Now my boundaries are thick as fuq and I only allow energy that is renewable and loving (i.e. not draining) around me.

In my case it is true. I lost my mother when I was 14... my mother was very emotional, very nurturing, moody, and a bit controlling, but we were very close, and I was very happy. I have moon in scorpio in my 8th house and I am not like that. I’m the one who wakes up the next day forgetting what has happened with anyone. Sometimes I hate it because I need to stay angry in order to show the person if they have hurt me. But I guess that’s just me, i forgive and forget.

The 8th House represent foremost, spirituality. My moon is in Virgo also my Northnode and when I dream they do come true. I have had several dreams where my mother told me things about my ex-husband, even my boss and they all come true. My mother is now gone on to be with God, but she was very much psychic, She would say things and they would come true. I always wanted to talk to her about so many things, especially my dreams but never gotten that chance. I left my country after I got married and because of circumstances I never get to visit as often as I would have like and there was always so many other things to talk about on the phone that there was no time to talk about dreams. Well I'm a person with the Sun in the WOW 10th house then this special gift of an 8th house ridiculous moon you can understand why WOW comes easy for me. I'm 60 now and I actually scare people with this 8th house arrangement these days I have to laugh after your lecture. Supposedly I'm crazy lol. My son has Sag moon and Saturn conjunction in the 8h. My jupiter conjuncts his moon by almost exact degree and our moons oppose. So I like to think he choose an occultist mom more than the negatives. What's funny is, is the anecdote to the emotional fluctuation, is asserting your solution in whichever situation was causing the imbalance. Ok this is scarily accurate! I have an Aquarius moon in the 8th house. I am a nurse. I have to isolate myself in order to “recharge” my energy and my mind. I’ve always been spiritual but as of the last two years or so, I’ve been diving deep into spirituality including manifestation, past-life regression, meditation, etc.
This is so on point! Moon is in my 8th house as my atmakaraka 29:55degree. I’m a nurse been one for 16 years and it’s so rewarding but emotionally drains me to exhaustion. On my down time I study about Vedic astrology, tarot, pray or listen to your videos just to relax. lol I’ll try meditation. Can’t hardly shut my brain down it gets so overwhelming. Advice about meditating is top tier. I'm 8th house moon in pisces under revati pada 4 nakshatra , every time I go long periods without grouding myself I become insane/disoriented. It's like immaturity and maturity in the same body. My mom was also very bipolar and relationship with her is a toss of a coin. Now I pursue a degree in psychology because the mind and soul are the 2 most important things to me. I also have Jupiter in my ascendant in leo , purva phalguni, so I'd hope that helps nullify it but probably not 😞

I am still going back and fourth with the emotional trauma we had when I was growing up. She also put me in foster care. Which for her was an act of love. Which I can understand. And I actually have my Moon Aquarius in the 7th house. But I do have Aquarius part of my Aquarius energy ruling my 7th as well as 8th house in my Western Astrology natal chart. And giving briefly my other placements, I have a stellium in Scorpio (Sun, Mercury, Saturn, Pluto, and South Node), and Mars as well as Jupiter Capricorn. My brother has this Moon placement, along with Jupiter (Cancer ascendant)... And my Moon is in the 6th with Mars.. You can see the pattern :p Our mother is problematic (also caretakers and authorities in general). The criteria for her to be proud of us was for us to become chefs or musicians, but she never pushed us in those directions in any way. She just expected her children to miraculously make it without ever supporting us emotionally. Our parents think that giving us a home and food on the table is more than enough :/ She doesn't see the suffering that we've been through and literally thinks she has the perfect family, while at the same time she would choose her husband over her children if she could..
Coming back to my brother, his relationship is worse than mine. She's very critical, very harsh.. she just speeks badly about him. She's indeed hot and cold, sometimes she'll be generous and kind with him providing food and stuff and the next time there will be a big fight and she'll be mean and cold.. She sends mixed signals all the time.
Interestingly my brother and I both have Saturn in the 5th and now I can see the link.. because of what happened to us and how our parents see us we feel like parenting is a burden, a heavy responsability, too heavy.. we don't want our children to go through the same things, in fact we don't even really want children because of that. We were not loved so we don't know how to love and take care of our children in a balanced and responsible way. We would prefer to escape this situation..
I'm curious about the hidden information between my mom and my brother, he's not adopted that's for sure.. what could it be.. And yes he runs into accidents, especially car accidents (Venus in the 6th..), and he had a lot of ups and downs in his life obviously.

It's the type of placement that makes you feel misunderstood and isolated in your family. The lack of love from the mother really impacts someone for the rest of their life.. Having my moon in the 6th I can relate to that 8th house placement and have a lot of empathy for my brother even though our relationship has been difficult growing up.
A good thing about this 6th/8th moon placement is that we have A LOT of love and affection to give, and that's a precious gift for all the people we meet and for those we care for. We just need to learn to love ourselves more along the way! That's the hardest part, but I'm sure it will get better with time!

This explains a lot! The only saving grace, it seems, is that my 8th house is Taurus (which is a good thing because I have Uranus and Pluto in my 12th house and that's about enough to contend with in one lifetime!).
