I can totally relate to the dad who is surprised his son wanted to be like him. Children love their parents and recognize when they are loved and valued. That's all that's really needed - the rest is just stuff. You can tell by their relationship that he's a great dad. I found that bit very touching.

My brother was run over age 5 by a garbage truck. The truck driver was backing up and bro went to rescue his bike from the path of the truck, went into the driver's blind spot, and done. He lived for nearly 25 years with medical rescue, surgeries, eventually kidney dialysis, and a pacemaker. It's a very hard life to live, I hope the little ones all have better and more life than he did.

Does the UK not have a dental program? Just about Everyone you see has stained, discolored teeth, multiple missing teeth, or no teeth at all. This was posted after viewing many episodes in a row.
Bad teeth can lead to infection of the brain and Spinal Meningitis. Could be deadly or severely debilitating.
Another thing, don’t let sinus infections go untreated the sign of yellow and green sinus drainage, get to the doctor or ER, especially if, you are running a fever. Infection is REAL.
People everywhere over the globe need to be educated on the importance of what people think are minor, but can be very serious.
Patient, in his forty, did not got to the doctor with his sinus infection and didn’t show up for work; the work called the Emergency contact on file which was his parents, they went to his apartment and found him unconscious in his bed. Ambulance called and a battery of test ran and it was discovered, spinal meningitis. He was mentally altered and lower limbs paralyzed. His parents were trying to care for him at home. I cared for him for over a year until I was promoted to charge with my home health care.

I actually know a little about your first question. The UK does have a dental "program," but it isn't through the National Health Service and almost all dentistry/dental insurance is done through private practices/separate insurance. I don't know why it isn't part of the overall healthcare system, though. From my understanding, to see a dentist in the UK is like going to the hospital in the US- it can cost a lot of money, so people only go for emergencies.

Don't believe what the media say. They take 1 or 2 incidents and blow it all out of proportion, then they go looking for "evidence" to support what they are saying. There are no ethics in the media any more. Nitrous oxide is extremely safe, it wears off very quickly and has no lasting effects. The most usual effects are nausea and light headedness but those are of a very short duration. Like any other medication you can get 1 in 100,000 (or more) who may have a reaction. You would have to have a hell of a lot of it in a small amount of time for any real adverse effect in the population as such.

She ducked up to put her bag inside after work, the commentary said. You've got to remember mums have basic human needs too. Bathroom, bag back inside, flipping the burgers. He did have supervision, it just lapsed for a second!! And accidents?? Those happen in a split second. Mumma did nothing wrong yet she was already blaming herself. Please, please don't add to it!!!

Sorry but you can’t leave a 3 - 4 year old alone for a second, you have to have eyes in the back of your head and what the heck was he doing on a skateboard, he’s far 2 young he doesn’t have motor skills at that age, silly mom.

Accidents happen in just a second when Mom turns her back. Parent shaming adds pain on top of any guilt a mom naturally feels. There but for the grace of God. . .

@@wendylawton8274I’m sorry but nothing justifies leaving a 3 year old unattended, period!!! The parent was being negligent! This wasn’t a typical accident, this could 100% been avoided had the parent been making responsible decisions!

Yeah. I was wondering that as well. You kind of have to have a uterus to carry a child?

There have been cases like this when the baby has formed without a womb and the placenta has attached itself to something else in the abdominal cavity and the sac the baby grows in has formed as well. It is very, very rare. Usually the baby does not survive but there are documented cases of it. When I learnt about it in obstetrics I though the lecturer was having a laugh at first. There were only about 2 or 3 documented cases then and that was in the early 80's.
