Share sketch is used when you want to use the same sketch that was consumed in creation of a previous feature. You go to that feature and reveal the sketch behind that and from the context menu available at right click of mouse you share it and reuse it.
Nice work. I have two questions that I hope you can answer. 1) When do you know when to share a sketch as was used in this video? I'm not when to use that feature. 2) What is the difference between project geometry and project cut geometry? Thanks!
Project geometry to used to project a specified edge of the part and project cut edges project all the edges of the part that intersect the sketching work plane.
Couldn't you just have added a chamfer instead of creating an arc and doing a revolve cut? Also, in the third extrusion feature you created; How did you know that the lines should be dimensioned 5mm from the XZ plane? The drawing I have does not show this dimension. is it outdated? Thank you!
