I just started a campaign of Dresde. As usual, I deployed a line of skirmishers in front of the Line Infantry defending the city. This is relatively safe, as the enemy hasn't much cavalry that are released/activated. Just a quick question: do you use the rule of the 'communicating battalion?'
Yes, I do use the rules for communicating battalions. Just be careful not to get too stretched out. One break in the chain can leave a group of units out of command. Good luck and have fun with Dresden. I did a multi player Vassal game of scenario #3 a few years back. We live-streamed each game session. There should be a playlist for it here on the channel.
