Thanks Amrit, that’s interesting different types of progression runs, I’ve only really started doing progression runs over the last year, before that it took me 6 months or more for my body to get use to tempo runs & the 30k long run, I could only run the long runs at a easy pace, but after awhile the body says hey I can handle progression runs within my long runs now, I think as ya grow in fitness, the body can naturally handle more intense progression runs, even now I add a harder progression run only ever Second long run, thanks 😊
They are tricky to do and also to find out what is the right one for the goal you want to achieve. And yes the body gets stronger as you run more miles. The miles makes you more resilient.
Nice video , like the running footage of you at Stratford Olympic park, I'll be there next week for the 10k chase the moon, hope it goes better than last time I was there in the summer and suffered a massive stitch in the last 2k .👍🏼
