For me issue was using a cheap eBay adapter, using an oem one from apple fixed it

Any idea on how to keep the audio playing while driving through the hdmi as well? While driving, my audio turns off on my phone while using this hack, so i can either choose between Google Maps or music

@@benchris4990 you can try putting the google maps on alerts only so it only talks when turn then music automatically should start playing again

syiwam did you do the trick I told you with the car running and ebrake up disable the motion off how I showed you by pushing the power the eject and home touch in the video after all that put the ebrake down put it in hdmi and it should work passed 10 I go on Highway with this
