+Leslie Caudill Take heart and know that there are a lot of us out there. But find something you can hold on to, drag yourself up out of the crap and tell the bastards they are not going to win. Find victory that you struggle every day but you make it, and consider it a win. Everyday you rack up more wins. You have to take it one day at a time. Eventually the hurt isn't so bad and you can move on. I know it's tough but you can do it. You have the strength. You just have to find it within you.

I just wanted to thank blue October. Giving people a way to look into what mental illness can really be like. And helping those of us who have it, out along the way. I hope they understand how many lives they have saved.
Blue October has helped me with my break up so much, i cried at some of there songs im a guy i dont usually cry, they make me feel like life is the reason to live, if that makes since, have a nice day everyone(:

I often feel broken, but just like Justin is I am finally trying to get better and take care of myself. I know we all live our own lives and nothing is wrong with that. But for me even though I am terrified most day I am still doing my best to "not be broken anymore" which actually is another blue October song :not broken anymore" I think it is called. Anyway love and peace to all of you and I hope you live the happiest lives that you can.

I LOVE this song ... Too bad Last Wish never produced an album ... I cannot get enough of Justin's lyrics, his voice, and the way emotion just pours out of him when he sings. Can't wait to see him in Denver for the Pick Up The Phone Tour on April 24!

Been listening to Justin since I was born. My mother is a huge fan and Blue was actually my first concert at 15. I'll forever be grateful for the memories Justin has created for me and my mom.

My best friend's brother met the love of his life in grade nine. That is when they started dating and now they are around age twenty and still very much in love. They have two beautiful children (they had both after they graduated high school) and are getting married in October. So, no, it doesn't happen often but it does happen. People fall in love everyday, regardless of age.

Finding them would be like winning the lottery and if you have congratulations. Focus more on the fact that you are happy. And you love them. Love them now, love them as much as you can, because who knows what the future holds? Just be happy. Relish what you have. Don't squander it. We should all be so lucky. I wasn't sure, First of February is the only cd I'm missing now that I found rooftop sessions.
I remember when I was broken I couldn't sleep eat time lasted forever but now I'm not and as I regress I tell myself I remember people said just let the time go by it'll be alright I guess it was that same old song and dance you know the what when you love somebody more than they love you but tell you they love you the same... I guess I have a fault in helping but it's not really a fault I wouldn't change nothing that doesn't make me a fool maybe temporary insanity but it's all good now I know my life is good and I still help I don't know about her but she was bad luck anyways.. I miss her kids more than her..
if your under the age of 20 and say you found "the one but they are not with me" pleas don't be melodramatic you are still young and as you grow older you will change so like don't get all sad because the cute guy or pretty girl in high school that you think is perfect isn't with you eventually when you are in the real world you will probably meet some one that will be better for you

Ive had the privilage to see them live in Baltimore at a small venue and i've been a fan since the first album, so this was my dream. After the show I was able to meet Jeremy, CB, Matt, and justin. (ryan was sick) and i'm telling you all of them are sweet hearts. I hugged justin and immediately cried because their music saved my life. Justin then hugged me again and said "Everything will be ok...just remember what i said," speechless to say the least....
This song isn't on Approaching Normal. It's not even on a CD - It's from the Last Wish, Justin's first band. Blue October remade this as a demo for one of their albums, but it didn't make the cut.
Yea. The Last Wish version is completely different. I mean, the lyric style is similar, but the instrumentals are way different. But the Last Wish version has a more somber feel to it all together.
I think rather, that people can fall in love in any matter that pleases them. Or doesn't,you know, I've never known anyone to fall in love by their own accord. Someone said that humans in general aren't smart enough to. Age hasn't anything to do with it.
also, when you find songs by them you don't like it's because you haven't gotten to that stage of healing yet...

Well said and thank you for your info. my research was brief. even still, i think had hidinginplace pointed this out instead of spouting "moron" and "take it down" without anything to back it up he may have had more positive public reception. Im still a fan of the song and would buy it in a heartbeat :-) i dont feel too guilty listening to a cover a band did of their lead vocals old band on youtube, personally. im sure it will be taken down (or would have) if I need to feel bad :-D
It took me about three years to track down a copy. I know it was originally released on cassette and not many people converted it to a cd.

Similar situation... my first true love age 16, broke up age 19.. then after 30 years of him playing cat and mouse games we reunited only to learn he is a full blown narcissist. A maddening mind f¥ck to say the very least.
