The anime-like animation for link was from Palutena’s character trailer back in SSB WiiU and 3DS, and it’s disappointing that they never made an actual Smash Bros anime with that style.
Also, some fun facts about the song itself:
1. Some of the artists started recording their lines back in late 2018.
2. Some of the people in this aren’t even known for rapping (examples; Dobbs (Incineroar) and Patterz (Duck Hunt Dog) are Pokémon RUclipsrs and Patterz even said he had no professional music experience before then, but he joined because he’s friends with the people at Nerdout).
3. Captainsparklez only actually rapped in a video once (maybe twice but I don’t remember) before this video in his Minecraft parodies.
4. Isaiah Crews (Mii Brawler) is the son of the Brooklyn 99 character and Old-Spice man himself, Terry Crews.
5. If you didn’t remember, the Kevin Bennett (Waluigi) was in the Waluigi vs. Smash Bros Rap Trilogy, so that’s a great callback!😄
Also, I see you already knew who Patterz was, but the point still stands😁
I would like to add something here:
6. The rappers for Ivysaur and Charizard were accidentally switched in the video and in the credits, the video reads that InternetAaron represented Ivysaur and InternetMikey represented Charizard, in reality, it was the other way around, Mikey did Ivysaur and Aaron did Charizard, while they never pointed this out to my knowledge (I'm not on Twitter so idk if they said something there or not), If you watch one of their videos (their channel is called InternetCity), you can tell who really is who from the voice. Only reactor who has pointed this out to my knowledge is Darrnell Bradley.
Sorry this was long, just wanted to point this out since I never saw many people point this out, while I'm someone who watches them frequently and noticed right away.
