This movie is so terrible it’s wonderful. I am absolutely stunned and obsessed. If you gave this movie to a child with no prior knowledge of the Cinderella story, they’d walk away thinking it was all about hams, beleaguered husbands and very, very long and awkward pauses. I love this car crash of a movie so much.
So glad I never knew Bevanfield Films existed growing up. On TV, I saw GoodTimes, Jetlag, Golden Films, anime, etc. This is horrible, hideous, horrendous, heinous, not to mention horrid.
Me too. I saw this when I was very young and every few months for the last 2 years this waltz popped into my head. I *knew* it was in something I saw 30+ years ago, but I swore it was this.
I can't explain how thankful I am for you uploading this! I have been searching for this for years. I have so many fond memories of dancing to the music with my grandmother! Thank you
I like this version of the Stepmother, how rather than being evil, she's just kind of a bee- yotch. She's funny! I always laugh at how she says "Blah blah blah" while reading things!
Wow the voice acting for this animated film is immaculate. The VA's for the Stepmother and the step-sisters were especially amazing. Also, I just love all the beautiful background music in this film. The music alone fills me up with so much nostalgia it's awesome. It's obviously supposed to sound like typical old timey fairytale type of music but it sounds so delightfully 90s. 😁👍💞🎇
Thanks for uploading this movie. I’ve been searching for it for years. I saw it on Nickelodeon when I was a kid. I was expecting to watch the usual Grimm’s Fairy Tale Classics anime from Nippon Animation. That’s what they said they would be showing. I was surprised when they showed this Cinderella movie. I thought it was weird and stupid, but at the same time I didn’t turn the TV off. I wanted to see what happens next. The part I often remember is when the stepmother reads the invitation for the ball. “His Royal highness the Prince bla bla bla bla. On his 17th birthday bla bla bla bla.”
15:09 I loved this part as a child ☺ I've only seen this before in Finnish dub (PVP voice, only two voice actors) so it's refreshing see it in original dub. BTW I always thought at 16:23 that she had chocolate beard 😂
I also had this on video but it also contained the jungle book which came on first then cinderella afterwards and now I got it again my friend brought it for me about 4 years back 🇬🇧
Nope. I still have the original VHS and cover, and it's 100% USA made...not that it was much to boast about, as much as I have fond memories of this edition.
Thank you so so much, I have been searching for this for many many years and it is as surreal as I remember. The but that stuck with me was the cowboy rats so I've had some interesting Google searches trying to find it. You have made my day!

I had this on vhs as a kid in the 90s, spent years trying to find it. I was beginning to think I'd dreamt it.
Me too! I was in Junior High school.
So glad I never knew Bevanfield Films existed growing up. On TV, I saw GoodTimes, Jetlag, Golden Films, anime, etc. This is horrible, hideous, horrendous, heinous, not to mention horrid.
Omg same here!! Grandad would buy me loads of knockoffs. I loved them alot. I loved this and the anastasia one. By urgh I forgot.

I have been looking for this version for sooo long!! 😄 i always remembered the stepmother shouting 'Husband' 😂 Thank you so much for uploading
My goodness!!! I thought this was a fever dream that i shared with my sister 😆
Thank you so much for uploading this rarity!
Much love to everyone ✌️💙✨
11:20 Cinderella wouldn't be her legal name, it's just the nickname they chose as an insult.
It's something you have to pause to see, but the name was written out fully on the invitation as 'Cinderella' before it flipped over.
Omg I've been looking for this for years. Thank you so much for posting. I used to watch this everyday when I was a kid 😂
Sorry, you had to watch low quality garbage like this. Of all the animated Cinderella films out there, why the worst one?
I like this version of the Stepmother, how rather than being evil, she's just kind of a bee- yotch. She's funny!
I always laugh at how she says "Blah blah blah" while reading things!
Omggg found this finally after 23 years omg. Thanks for uploading this thanks so much ❤

SO OLD. So hard to find. Thanks for uploading
When I tell you I’ve been looking for this movie for YEARS I thought I’d dreamed it! Thankyou 🥹😂
I thought I'd never seen this again. Thanks for the upload. I'm glad I found it. Phelous should review it
You have no idea how happy I am that you posted this! My grandmother is excited too!
I guess I didn't realize people were nostalgic about it. Glad you like it!
I forgot how atrocious it is, but it's a lot of memoriea wrapped into 45 minutes!
I sure do remember that corset lacing scene
Legit thought this was a Beavenfield movie upon remembering it.
It is, when you look up this version of Cinderella, it says that it was made by Bevanfield.
And you can tell it's from Bevanfield because of the use of that font in 0:28. That font was used in Bevanfield's Tell-Me-A-Story.
Thankyou for uploading this! Used to watch it on video when I was young 😊
Oh my god. This is somehow...pre-nostalgic.
I think the father told the Prince about Cinderella to get back at his wife lol
Charlotte and Alexandria? Well what's this version of the stepmother's name?
Who else is Waiting for phelous to cover this?
Yes, I was looking for this! I have the VHS tape, but my player hardly works any more.
PS, you must have a different edition of the tape than I do. Mine had a Mel-O-Toons version of Sleeping Beauty at the end.
Very glad to be of help!
SAME!!!!!
This video gives me so much nostalgia and it was trying to find a needle in a haystack looking for this 😂
Our grandpa bought this for us years ago... it is so funny and different... LOL

@@magicmoonart Sorry. My bad. I remembered it wrong. I only saw it once on TV when I was a kid. That was way back in the 90’s.
I think the father is having an affair with his manservant...
What a terrible father not letting her daughter ella go to the ball or shop her new clothes
15:09 I loved this part as a child ☺

The step mother and sisters look like lady dimitrescu
How can I have forgot about this movie good memories.
I like the sisters voices and the step Mama's voice too
Squeezed a "DAMN" in the very end there, hah
Get revenge Cinderella make those losers grovel at your feet

48:00 Seems that this was Euromation from the UK?
Nope. I still have the original VHS and cover, and it's 100% USA made...not that it was much to boast about, as much as I have fond memories of this edition.
2:30 so cringey! Mama mama
Which studio/company does this movie belong ? Thanks and great contribution :D

I'm glad so many people are happy to see this movie! I did not expect that at all.
Me too!! I had this on video as a little girl 😁
This, I’ve been in the same situation and my mom thought I was insane when I told her about the rats and explained how the lips where 😂
