@@mygrandmasfavoriteflower synthv uses AI to render their voicebanks instead of having the user manually tune each note like vocaloid/piapro. this certainly has its drawbacks (less control over the vb and what it produces) but it generally results in much cleaner/realistic singing than vocaloid ever could have achieved (unless youre mitchie m, apparently) also do note that the use of AI for synthv isn't generative/grifting; it is entirely ethical in this case!

it's not even just materialism, it's the fact that an emblem can be used as a status symbol, a symbol of what you align yourself with, a seal of approval etc you're showing who you are through what you consume instead of just trying to understand and appreciate the world around you

I once saw him live tweak some tune without a headphones, and he,s still spots the notes that needed to tweaked in that mili second of the entire song .. me as (used to) an enjoyer of the "finished" music then realized how dare i critized his work for a song that i didn't really enjoy. After that I started to notice some breath effect and mind blowing little tiny details in each of his works.
