Its also a slightly tired view on himself and also a reflection on a thesis called 'The Doors of Perception' by Aldous Huxley where he uses the phrase, All in All is all we are.... which is used in this song and is about taking LSD to open up a person's mind. Also, the phrase in the song 'Married-Buried-Married' might be a reference to his marriage status, finally 'I wish I was like you, easily amused' is not really a 'hommage' to his wife, more of a critique on himself and his lack of satisfaction with life............... My point is, this song (to me) is not even close to love or happy memories, its a pretty dark song.
