Damn it’s been 14 years already. This video introduced me to Pixies back in the tf2 golden era. Today I finally had a chance to see them live and this music video was on my mind during the concert 🥲 Those were some good times and this video captures it very well.
Heyoooo! clippen here, former TF2 competetive player, played scout/sniper for quarantine in ETF2L div 1 and also ESL. I sometimes get nostalgic for the old TF2 days and this fragvideo is one of my "go to" vids to put a smile on my face and remember all the fun, all the scrims, all the practice, all the official matches and just how awesome competetive 6v6 were back in the golden days! Torden, I don't know if you remember me but we played a lot of pickup games and what not together! Where ever you are in the world and your life at the moment I hope you are doing good! As good as this video is with your amazing art direction and alternative music and editing. 10/10 Masterpiece. Oh yeah, I actually played a season for Broder, div 3 or 2 I think it was, haha! Peace out! / clippen aka former godlike scout ;)
Coming back here years later with a layman's understanding of video editing, and there is just so much going on here that is executed not just well but artfully so.
even after more than 2 years, this continue to be one of the best frag videos out there the editing, music selection, the rawness of it all: fucking beautiful
Reminds me a lot of Tarentino and not just because it looks like you put that "Inglorious Basterd" style caption in the beginning. I cannot compliment this video enough.
This is indeed best tf2 movie out there, majority of the frags arnt that great BUT the editing is fenomenal so is sound design, I loved the part where you mixed 2 versions of "Wave of mutilation" really fucking brilliant. I watched this like 30 times alrdy.
One of the best fragvids! Nice editing, humor(2:59), good kills(Especially the demo hits at the air) and Snipers that actually do headshots and not bodyshots. Keep it up ;3
Damn. This is the coolest TF2 frag video I've ever seen. There are great kills of course, but more than that, the way it's been edited and with great music such as the Stooges and Pixies (not that trance shit that's so usual). Simply amazing work. Great cuts on fragdolls and cool effects. A little too fast cuts at some points for my taste, but the video is great fun and puts a smile on the face from the cool start. Reminds me of something that Tarantino would do in his films.
@1998Navi No. What it means, is that there is a difference in how a spy is shown in STV recordings, and how it is shown in the POV of the opposite team.
nicely done! the first frag"film" i watched twice i really like this 2 Euro pan. I also want to commit that i love the other movies in your channel. Great work!
@TheyCallMeRisky Yup, I agree with you about the shake. The video was made during a very short free space of time and those transitions were tossed on quite last minute. The pldx.com version has a bit less of it.
Thank you! RUclips is spending quite some time with processing the HD, but it should be here any minute. For those who can't wait, there's direct links on the right
This is still the best frag video i've ever seen editing-wise. That secret penis; Was that a tribute to Fight Club? If so, it's pretty sweet how you also used Pixies a lot.
@sh1mz0r The Blight you see there is one of the earlier European incarnations of Blight. Division wise, they were in the European equivalent (Premiership) of the North American Invite.
@sauzetklan Photoshop (images) and After Effects (video). All the footage was rendered out in crap quality and re imported into After Effects as placeholders, in order for a faster working process. Otherwise, Premiere/Final Cut will be a better editor for less effect heavy videos.
The Engineer portion is now a fucking meme because of how edgy the editing is. Congratulations.

Such an awesome music choice, especially in the era this was made when all other videos were either DnB or dubstep. And fuck...14 years

4 years old and still the best TF2 frag video I have seen so far.

So this is the origin of edge_engineer.wmv
This is my favourite montage ever. Almost 10 years later it’s still perfect!
Two years later still watchig this. One of the most awesome tf2 movies.
14 years anniversary today 🎂
Warms my heart to see that medic save and engineer killing spree.
based and engiepilled
those were some very nice frags but what made it stand out from others is the amazing way you presented it
The Kritzkrieg rush with the music change was fking epic!
Reminds me a lot of Tarentino and not just because it looks like you put that "Inglorious Basterd" style caption in the beginning. I cannot compliment this video enough.
Man this is absolute amazing. 10 years and still one of my favorite tf2 movies, nice edit
Reupload at 60fps
2010 niggas really saw this and said "hell yeah"
This was really something different from the normal high contrast drum and bass frag videos...
14 Years - Still the best
This is indeed best tf2 movie out there, majority of the frags arnt that great BUT the editing is fenomenal so is sound design, I loved the part where you mixed 2 versions of "Wave of mutilation" really fucking brilliant. I watched this like 30 times alrdy.
wow this the best edited movie i've seen so far. And the music fits pretty well, but i want to see some OMG-frags like mlg top ten
RIP broder, gl in the future, i hope to see torden with a new team next year
Unfathomably based.
EMBRACE TRADITION
Man wish Fanva and Torden were in the new lineup, still great to have them back! GO BRODER!
The overuse of the annoying shaky cam made it a chore to watch through -- good thing the frags were so good.
And yet this is still one of the most impressive fragmovies ever created.
The demo sequence was unbelievable.
Probably the best fragmovie - ever.
it warms my heart to see an engineer and a medic in a frag video. :)
I lost it at the mario jump noises. Bravo.
One of the best fragvids!
Nice editing, humor(2:59), good kills(Especially the demo hits at the air) and Snipers that actually do headshots and not bodyshots.
Keep it up ;3
Yea, their scouts are really good. We lost to them but won or drawed to everyone else
Greatest TF2 frag movie ever made.
Literally one of the best TF2 edits I've ever seen
the engineer killing spree was awesome
alright but this is actually amazing editing

LOVE the Engie frags
wtb tutorial for the editing of this vid
Best editing i've ever seen in a frag movie.
The cinematic effects are awesome.
Finland + Sweden = Awesome view from space
The editiing in this video IS AMAZING!! I think this video alone is going to make me subscribe. Kudos for the music btw.
@TheDBZDood it was removed when the footage was recorded to make video look better. no one would play without a crosshair
Nahiiiice! It's good to see a multi class frag video, not to mention one with great editing. :D
So close to beating Epsilon. Great match. I was rooting for Broder!
Still the best TF2 FM for me

This soundtrack makes this vid insta win!
nicely done! the first frag"film" i watched twice
i really like this 2 Euro pan.
I also want to commit that i love the other movies in your channel. Great work!
Broder will probably get promoted to division 1 in season 8 gl it's gonna be tough to get into the top 4.
3years but still my fav fragmovie :D
It's actually only one demo. The editing does make it look like there were two though.
@TheyCallMeRisky Yup, I agree with you about the shake. The video was made during a very short free space of time and those transitions were tossed on quite last minute. The pldx.com version has a bit less of it.
Yup. Sneis went to Peru, and Weqo joined.
beautiful video, superb editing, super frags
thx for this
wow, that was very amazing. everything fitted perfectly together, even the fonts used. my hat off to you :)
i disagree, editing was smooth and amazing. didnt take away from the gameplay.
hehe. Now there is actually a swedish div 5 team that we played against called moder.
I still be watchin this
Always nice to see some combat engineering P; Otherwise it had some nice, original moments (the uber scout and demoman juggle part)
Keep it up!
The thing is. There is a lack of soldier airshots. Other than that it's really good
So sad that they aren't a Team anymore.
Best TF2 video i have ever seen ! AWESOME
Thanks, apparently I shuffled through the songs too quickly.
This is the greatest video I have ever seen.
Fantastic movie, good editing and good music!
Still my favorite frag vid
Thank you! RUclips is spending quite some time with processing the HD, but it should be here any minute. For those who can't wait, there's direct links on the right
EVERY FUCKING TF2 THREAD
Best Frag movie ever made.
definitly the best tf2 movie ever :D
This is still the best frag video i've ever seen editing-wise. That secret penis; Was that a tribute to Fight Club? If so, it's pretty sweet how you also used Pixies a lot.
@jeesjees2 That's actually the same tune as the one in the credits, "there goes my gun" by Pixies. It's just parted by that small break of silence.
Unbelievable editing. :3
Best TF2 frag movie
That's part of the legend, brother.
rated this 5 stars like 3 times already
@sh1mz0r The Blight you see there is one of the earlier European incarnations of Blight. Division wise, they were in the European equivalent (Premiership) of the North American Invite.
Unnecessarily over-edited doesn't even begin to describe this video.
@sauzetklan Photoshop (images) and After Effects (video). All the footage was rendered out in crap quality and re imported into After Effects as placeholders, in order for a faster working process. Otherwise, Premiere/Final Cut will be a better editor for less effect heavy videos.
I love it! It's got that Quentin Tarantino style, which is awesome ;)
wow THAT WAS AZUM! BEST EDIT EVER!
10 EDITS!
