Jabal Umm ad Dami ⛰️🇯🇴 The highest peak of Jordan

It's the fever of the 'highest', 'most' and the 'biggest' that catches everybody eventually. To get to the highest point in Jordan, you have to get a guide and sort out a mode of transport (a pick-up) from Wadi Rum village or one of the camps. Starting around 30 JOD per person, all the way up to 70 - depends on your negotiation skills and luck. It takes a bit more than an hour to get there. To climb it from the bottom to the top, it can take from 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on your fitness. No equipment required, although there are several parts that are scary for those with the fear of heights. It is a nice mountain to climb, but definitely would be more enjoyable on your own without an obligatory guide :)
