      Thank you!!☺ I got most of them online from Aliexpress. Some like earring hooks and rhinestone chain, I bought them from my local stores, they are available online as well.

    I have learned a lot by watching your videos. Any tips or suggestions for completed pieces being sticky or becoming dull after top coat applied?

    • @CharmsDIY
      @CharmsDIY  8 месяцев назад +1

      Sticky UV resin is usually due to oxygen inhibition layer. I frequently used to have those problems in the beginning but not much anymore. I avoid it by bringing the UV light as close to pieces as possible. I believe bringing the light close to pieces cures them faster that decrease the chances of forming the inhibition layer. I may be wrong but it works for me. I also leave the pieces out in the sunny days for some time. Some cure it under water to avoid the sticky layer. I suggest you a video on UV resin remaining sticky (don't remember the title) by Daniel Cooper. He has explained it well.

    What gage wire do you use and when you are straightening the wire are you flattening it ? Thank you

    • @CharmsDIY
      @CharmsDIY  8 месяцев назад

      I am using gauge 18 wire, 1mm thick. I don't flatten the wire. I just make adjustments and fix the shape of the frames as required.

    What type of wire is recommended for bezels making? Or normal Cooper wire will be ok

    • @CharmsDIY
      @CharmsDIY  8 месяцев назад

      I recommend copper craft wires. It bends easily, is not soft as aluminum wire, so it retains the shape well. Normal copper wire works as long as it doesn't break easily, also the thickness should be at least 0.8 mm.

    Beautiful! Where do you buy your tiny letters?

    • @CharmsDIY
      @CharmsDIY  8 месяцев назад

      I buy holographic tiny letters from AliExpress. Here, I haven't used any though. I wonder if you are talking about tiny pieces of silk thread. If so, I just cut silk thread into tiny pieces.
