You know what pisses me off? This PROVES that EA can do better, they choose not too with Madden.
If they really wanted to do better they would make a purpose-built engine for football. Is it still using the Madden engine and reusing 90% of the madden animations. They certainly put a little more effort into things like the mascots and the aesthetics... But I still can't believe the fourth most profitable game on the planet is using the same engine since 2016. Was never even meant for sports games.
Obviously it's still using the same basic code base. It's never going to be a great game until they start from scratch with a new engine and a new code base.
This doesn't prove shit. The game isn't out yet and this whole trailer is marketing on top of a football RUclipsr hyping it up as this is his bread and butter. Not saying it's automatically a bad game, but let's not act like it's good before playing it. EA definitely doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt.
If anything the only thing this proves is Madden should have a longer cycle. Of course this is gonna be in-depth they had multiple years to develop it.
@@michaelcorcoran8768They can 100% make a quality game with the Frostbite 3 engine. Efficiency is certainly an issue. But the devs just aren't afforded enough time between releases to make any meaningful changes without fear of it completely breaking the game and then not being able to QA it in time.

It’s been a while since I watched Adamo and Horton just absolutely smack the nation in my first NTE vids back when I was in high school. I graduate college in December ol’ Drewski, and NCAA football has been a constant since guys like you and Crowe got me back into the game with Revamped. I’m pumped that you’ve come so far, and this game looks absolutely fantastic! Keep it up NTE!!!

I’ve been trying to get into revamped but it just seemed like so much extra to get it working. Would’ve loved to try it tho. I think that mindset comes from me bc by the time I learned about revamped they had already announced this game will drop in July.

Recently in my hometown there is an election for sheriff coming up and there is tons of campaign signs and he is literally named Tom Adamo, and Everytime I see it I laugh a little bit that he is a real person 😅

I have a stupid idea. Drew, you should play College Football 25 with a 'NTE All-Star Roster'. Basically, take the greatest players from all of your teams and play with them. The dominance would be epic as all your icons gel together

F1 Manager 24 and College Football coming back with a vengeance. 2024 looks to be a great year for sports gaming
F1 Manager is a title I'm really excited for. It looks like it took Frontier Games a few times to catch their stride (how do you make a motorsport manager and NOT include a mechanic for part failures?) but between that and this game, I'm gonna have no free time.

Wear and tear can potentially be great for road to glory. If it works correctly in RTG it seems like you play in games as a 2nd or 3rd string instead of never touching the ball until you’re a starter.

This looks like a super update to NCAA 14, which is exactly what I wanted.
The wear and tear will help on spam plays also. Every dynasty I focus on defense. I sub out a new defense package every few plays.

Game looks great, my only big issue is there being no Highschool in RTG. That is very concerning to me because I'm worried they will just allow you to pick the school you want to go to and not have a recruitment experience. Grinding to see what colleges would offer you, especially on higher difficulties was so much fun.
For the Wear and Tear system I hope they have durability slider... because what if I want to be the next Tim Tebow or Cam Newton... those guys took hits and made plays all game long
As an Auburn fan please tell me they nailed the Jordan-Hare atmosphere I’m so ready to see it

I don't want to speak for the entire community, but what I think would be a really fun addition to the NCAA Dynasty videos would be "where are they now" updates to some of our favorite players.
If NCAA 25 has the import roster feature, it would be awesome for you to sim the Madden season 1 year and import the new Dynasty players. Then after each season we can have updates to how those players performed in the NFL.
This game looks like it's gonna take up all my free time from July til January

People are big on the "Not a Madden reskin" train, but nobody has seen anything from the upcoming Madden and it's likely that the games are similar in that regard.
In that case it's fine, because this is a huge improvement over madden
I have been thinking a bit more about the "platinum version" of the field general ability and being able to know that they are using Cover 4 but showing Cover 0...you could argue that he has studied teams enough to know what they like to use to "disguise" certain things. *Most likely the player with Platinum will be a Senior or RS Junior anyways, so it's not TOO crazy to think he may be able to do that, they also said that they CAN be wrong sometimes too*
The abilities seem very similar to the last couple NHL games. Which is pretty cool.

In NCAA 14, Iowa had a runningback named Mark Weisman, who was basically caucasian Jerome Bettis. Going up the middle with him was the only fun I've ever had with a powerback

What would be cool is being able to use the best teams in each schools history in play now mode
I hope they focus a lot more emphasis on the team builder, Dynasty, Road to Glory. For the Road to Glory, I’d like to see it more nba 2k myplayer (online) influenced. Same as for the team builder and editing a player in relation to it being archetype based and adding some of pros & cons depending on the archetype and how that archetype is built. As for the home field advantage, I hope it’s to the point where the audience grabs you and makes you feel like you really in a real life college game whether it’s “cheers” or “Boos”; moreover, adding chants based on a school tradition. I see the audience intensifying a user playing the game. As for the nba 2k relationally-motivated is what I see will make it suitable for online play. I hope in the future they can blend in nfl street into road to glory mode!

In dynasty mode, do we only get the announcers for nationally televised games? I always felt that was a great realistic element in NCAA 11.
Just wanted to give my semi annual thank you drewski for being one of the few genuine RUclipsrs and not a sellout! Also for your videos still getting me through tough times it’s nice to just take a breather and have some laughs and I will never get sick of watching your dynasty’s I’ll rewatch the pandas like it’s a Netflix series 😂💪 P.S. crazy to think how long it’s been since the pandas took over the college landscape and can’t wait to see them back!

lol hope the stadium gets quiet and seats start to empty if the home team is getting blown out, or the stadium's like half-full if it's two small schools at an 11am kick-off. Really wish they added fans storming the field after a huge win, but I doubt it. I know there's a decent amount missing from this game, but it's all mostly liscensing issues. Hope they just keep building onto the game in the coming years and don't sacrifice any features from this year in the process. Looks good, and the gameplay is really starting to quiet a lot of the haters who aren't below the age of 18 lol. Can't wait to play

Do you know if when kicking a field goal as the visiting team toward the giant Jumbotron at Auburn if they have the eagle staring down at you? It’s one of the most hilariously awesome things and I hope it’s in game. If not tell the devs to get on it 😂
Off the field issues/suspensions should be included for players and coaches.
as someone who isnt remotely into college football and has been patiently for madden to actually be somewhat good again. Im not afraid to admit im jealous.
What’s crazy to me is the inability to export your players to madden in franchise mode. I feel like that makes passing on madden on launch an easy decision (at least until I get my fill of NCAA).
Probably the next year or a patch. It’s probably easy to add if people beg for it

Madden is terrible to me. I haven’t bought that game for at least 10 years. This one looks to have been the real deal .
I think it would be nice to have an equipment system , if your school isn’t as big and dosent have upgraded equipment facility’s you won’t have access to certain accessories . And the more upgraded it is the more prospects would likely want to come

And that’s the biggest issue. Old games were more…I don’t even know how to call it. In current maddens players feel like a big stones which can’t move even if they are skinny WR or HB
Yep same animations and player movement for what, like 10 years? Not to mention awful blocking AI, defensive backs making absurd jumps to pick off passes, goofy pursuit angles... I haven't played Madden in 4 or 5 years and this gameplay looks identical. Hopefully the dynasty is good

What? NTE himself complimented the new passing system. Also if you haven't played in 4 or 5 years, there is obviously a difference.

Wear and tear needs to have an off switch in case it's annoying. Sometime I don't want realism, I want to give someone 40 carries
There is a toggle to turn it off. There are also abilities that make so some guys can withstand more damage than the average player
The Madden fatigue system is part of the reason I stopped playing the game, it’s good to hear that this game is different

I am curious as to why there appears to be no questions asked regarding sliders and the ability to turn some features mentioned on or off. I am also not sure why they will not allow you to modify coaches. They have provided what appears to be an advanced system for coaching only to turn around and say well here is the new system but we are not going to allow you to modify a coach for another Team in your own dynasty. I suppose they want to keep from someone making a Revamp mod like what was done for 2014.
Most of the media that was invited to the game showcase appear to be EA fan boys and most of the interviews that I have seen appeared to be very limited in details and more about how everyone loves college football blah blah.
I'm pretty sure there being no records under the team names in the videos is because it's basically exhibition mode and it just uses a built-in top 25 to give a ranking, but gives no record.

I think the fatigue aspect is awesome because it make it more realistic!
Wear and Tear is scary to me.....Even Madden now without this feature has everyone getting injured every game multiple times.
Also, I hope they bring back quick subs. Madden 24 doesn't have that and it made playing someone online terrible, because I couldn't switch my QB or RB in situations I needed to.

The animations in the gameplay look so much better than madden. They look less clunky and closer to ncaa 14
Player abilities are so hit-n-miss because we don't need them but they might actually be better versions of the copy-n-paste ones in the last few Maddens.

My biggest hope is i can turn a bunch of the fearures off. I think its too much. 90% of peoppe are going to call hail marry every play. I dont want fatigue. i want college playbooks and to be forced to turn over my dynasty roster every 4th season, the distinct difference from the nfl dynasties. Didnt we all agree unanimously a decade ago qb vision as a game feature isnt fun in madden 13 or 14?

There’s a lot of features that the ps2 ncaa has that this Game doesn’t have yet like fcs historic teams create a fan export draft classes or greatest games moments. NCAA probation. Storm the field would be cool to add too. Heck even a halftime show or bowl season show. Add heisman show?
I just feel like it would get bland after awhile. Hope they update it and keep it fresh. It’s pretty much the same game with updated gameplay and teams fields roster etc.

The wiggling lines on pass plays from the home field advantage never made sense to me. The route is the route. It doesn't change.
Players have gotten confused about the play at whiteout at beaver stadium because of the noise. This is the games way to simulate that
The scoreboard reminds me of NBC scoreboard
Anything is better than the FOX scoreboard.
I had my doubts about this game due to EA's incompetence with Madden. This video gives me SOME hope but I still want to wait and see the reviews how the game play is. But not putting this out on PC is a huge mistake. I don't have a PS5 and I will definitely not buy one just for this game.
