His son, who is now 13, drummed with him at Lollapalooza last year. Absolutely adorable! One of the best rock documentaries about the BEST rock band this earth has ever been graced with. Thank you Jeff and Wilco for making music that ROCKS my soul!
Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is one of the very few albums that, when listening to it, there isn't a single song that is bad, even okay. Everything is beautifully composed, and it is a must-buy record.
I am currently missing one of the best girls I have ever gotten the chance to be with for a few days. Close to tears, but Wilco never ceases to amaze me with how uplifting their music is.
Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is extraordinary. I would love to ask Jeff how he dreams this stuff up, but I'll never meet him. So I will just listen to it over and over and enjoy it.
thanks for this vid man its great... I'm jealous of Jeff's rad family.. it's great that a rock star such as himself can still be so well grounded and have good roots at home.. it is possible, and he proves it.
I remember this documentary, they stopped at a Wendy's and Jeff didn't have any cash after they had ordered. Of course, Tweedy handled it with class. or did he? Jeff, thank you for your dry-ass humor. May you always be able to afford new tires to reach all yer fans
What makes them different is, as of today, a combination of two things. One is Tweedy's writing style, he writes songs that mean something, and he puts a ton of thought into them. Second is Nels Cline, not many guitarists like him out there, he reminds me of David Gilmour.
David Pitman - I have almost the same thoughts! I just wrote to my friend that sent this link to me that WHF was the only CD available in this one lab I had to spend hours and hours in during grad school - just the first notes bring me right back!
I love Jeff, Nels, and David. Nels kinda reminds me of Santana. Having established that I admire these guys just like you, I wanna ask you something: What do you mean when you say that Tweedy writes songs that mean something and that he puts tons of thought into them? I'm pretty sure that there are tons of people who "mean" things in their songs and that spend tons of time thinking about their songs and yet produce horrible music. What does Jeff "mean" exactly?
Seriously - do you really have nothing else to occupy your time with aph6144? A hobby perhaps? Arts and crafts? Why would you come all the way here, listen to the song, and take time to post how much you hate the song. Were you trying to impress us that you know a girl? Or that she carries a cell phone that rings? Why don't you stick to your Plain White T's and Foo Fighters. I am sure I will come across you somewhere else on youtube saying how much you hate something.

that's pretty dope when you can go to school and say, "my dad's jeff tweedy from the band wilco."
Insta-cool points with the hippie chicks...
they're off of the documentary, "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart" which is all about Wilco as they produce Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
so his son is pretty much adorable.
i looove this song.
I love his Tele...
Great song, amazing band!!! LOVE!
Adorable small child. 5 stars well earned by that one.
I feel like Is This It and Funeral fall under this category as well.

Yankee Hotel Foxtrot is third on Rolling Stone's greatest album of '00s. :]

reminds me of pavement
xxgabby1017xx
"Foxtrot Hotel"
i do
@chuckle14 It is must-buy record, but there are some stronger, some weaker songs, in my view. I think "Sky Blue Sky" is much more balanced.
