Well his friend was truly not his friend like he thought. His wife was not what he thought either. Especially when he went home and they didn't even bother to stop that tells you everything. It probably was going on the whole time by the way they acted towards him.
My guess is that he is a very nice guy and thought he had a great life. He fully trusted both of them, which was a huge mistake. They both probably talked about her breaking up with him and starting to date each other and when he walked in they were shocked, and my guess is probably did stop having sex, but the guy was a coward and didn't want to get his ass handed to him, so he didn't rush out. She didn't rush out because she wanted to leave him anyway and thus didn't have to have that conflict. Both of them are disgusting though. The guy should be thankful he never had children with this "lady".

That term seems to be thrown around a lot. How exactly was this guy a SIMP? He made a mistake trusting his friend to be around his wife, but I wouldn't call that SIMP behavior at all. When he found out, he ended the relationship with both of them. When she came back he found it laughable, even when she said she would end herself. Again how is any of this SIMP behavior? It isn't.
I would recommend therapy for the OP to sort out his emotions over his ex-wife's infidelity and his ex-best friend's self-deletion. He should contact his lawyer to see if the law would allow him to place a restraining order on his ex-wife since she keeps threatening to self-delete herself and placing the blame on him.

You NEVER and I mean never allow your girlfriend/wife to be alone with another man on any consistent basis. I don't care if he says he is gay. I don't care if she says, she sees him like a brother. Unless this guy is a vegetable in the hospital, you don't allow it. If you ever date again, remember this. It almost always leads to them having sex. I could type a bunch on here, on the reasons why, but you can research that yourself. This leads to you not dating any woman who has a male "best friend" also. Same reasoning.
True needs to stop using AI. It sounds like him, but it is lacking the personal touches of his laughter and short comments. AI sucks mispronouncing words, attempting to pronounce misspelled words or when present repeating lines. So much better with a human voice.
