- Hey all! In today's video, I'm going to be sharing some DIY fall decorating ideas for 2023! This cozy, fall home decor is sure to make your space feel warm and inviting!
I've been slowly decorating for fall, and I wanted to try some new things this year. The first project involves using tree branches and limbs, which I already had from a previous DIY. I'm cleaning up these branches and using them to create a tall and wide centerpiece. I'm also adding some mini crow decorations for that fun, fall touch.
Next, I'm working on ceramic pumpkins. I spray-paint them with a matte charcoal color and then apply a white wax finish to achieve that rustic pottery look. It's a cost-effective alternative to store-bought options.
In another DIY, I use a silicone mold to make concrete pumpkins. I mix quick-setting concrete to a milkshake-like consistency and fill the mold. After it sets, I drill holes for stems and customize them with various colors and finishes.

Hi Nica! Honestly, the floors were installed right before we bought the house. I do remember them mentioning the flooring was from Flooring Liquidators, but that's all I remember!! Sorry!

A piece of vine with curly Q's would be cute..concrete takes wood stain really well too so you can get the little tiny cans of minwax stains in multiple colors or mix your own

Ok this is my second comment , cuz I watched it twice! It was good both times. I love how at the beginning you focus your camera on the crow in the stick arrangement, and then you phase out and focus on your BEAUTIFUL room in the background. So profesh!
So now I have a question: Can you use the silicon mold more than once, or does the concrete ruin it? Thanks!
Aw! Thank you!! 🥰 Yes, you can absolutely use it over and over. I wouldn’t recommend like concrete and then food use. But you know what I mean 😉 Can totally be used again and again! For either or (or just buy 2!) They’re really reasonable!
You could spray WD-40 before you put the cement and will slide off

Did you paint the inside or how did you cover the inside of the pumpkin 🎃 I bought them today , going to do the project . I love the way yours came out ❤
I didn’t paint the inside. I just left them white on the insides. The little pumpkin had a battery tea light and the spray paint didn’t bother it at all. Still works great! Have fun ❤️🎃
