I have the same camera but it has recently started acting up but it only happens when I have film in it. any idea what it might be ? it does not happen always but sometimes it gets jammed when I shoot and the film does not advance for a couple seconds or when I set the camera down. but I can spam the shutter button when no film is inside and it does not jam once and advances fine with no issues . Only when film is loaded is when it sometimes has trouble any thoughts?
How similar are these internally to the Nikon AF35? I don't mess with point and shoots, my experience is with old mechanical medium format cameras and leaf shutter mechanisms. But I have some broken Nikons in a box and thought I may have a stab.
I just was given one of these cameras, It had a lot of corrosion where the batteries go. It isn't turning on, I have been trying to research and see what to do but most of the videos I find are fro the AF35MII. Any tips on doing something to the battery compartment to make it work? Or troubleshooting ideas?
hey man; the hook on the back that keeps the door closed broke on me, any idea how to fix it or if t's fixable? Or maybe just hold the door with some tape?

the af35mii was my first repair, got me into the whole business of repair. its a love hate relationship with them

🙋🏻♂ have you ever had the film advance (the right spool) stop working on these cameras? ... think that means a dead motor?
Also check solder joints if dark grey resolder to become bright again. 🐊
