If you loved this season, you are not prepared for what's coming! The book series really gets going in the second and third book, I really really hope they get the Greenlight for season 2

04:52 I know what he does, and what he figures out, and we have already seen and heard what he learned to figure it all out.
05:45 Waht they look like is totally, totally irrelevent.
05:52 Okay you did not understand. The Sophont is a vast intelligence computer which can move at almost the speed of light. It is linked (the technical term is quantumly entangled) to one with the Son-Ti fleet. Thus they have instant communication. The Son-Ti can and do see everything on Earth. Also, the Son-Ti do not understand deceit. They do not lie.
    Um...where is teh ENDING EXPLAINED??????????

I think we still class as an ending explained. We haven't touched on the books and don't for spoiler reasons but we are still talking about the final episode and the possibility of where that can lead for season 2 which I would say is explaining the ending. We will take that on board though to maybe include more detail moving forward!
What they look like and what they are isn't irrelevant as this could affect the perception humanity has with them as well as the potential survival options.

For some reason was expecting an explanation to the ending of the season... silly me...

We can only explain as far as our understanding. We're not covering stuff from the books. So we can only speculate on the show.

@@Q-Dads As you stated :-) I checked your vid when it popped out in my stream, as I've been wondering what's with these "Ending Explained" videos (there's 2 more visible right now). As there's neither an explanation nor theorizing related to the relevance of the ending (i.e. the bug swarms) there's a title/content discrepancy. Other than that, a spot on review, I rather enjoyed it :-)
I think the 2nd season will come, the producers are darn good bringing great source material to life (as proven by GOT). Tho' I'm a bit concerned, there's a ton of scienc-y stuff coming up which might cause loss of interest on the crowd who expect for Marvel-y content...

Ah I see, If you've watched Constellation, I think you'll like our ending explained on that. We do theorise more with that.
We'll take the critique on board.

The Santi are tiny aliens that are about the size of a grain of rice, this is how they are able to dehydrate themselves and survive. This is another factor that the Santi don't want the humans to know as it would change humanities perception of the them. No Spoilers but its unlikely that we will get to see them in the show because only one human ever gets to see the Santi in person and this doesnt take place until the 4th book. However the show used elements from the first 3 books in the first season so theres always a chance we will get to see them on screen in the next few seasons.

That isn’t technically canon although the author does approve of the fanfiction, he hasn’t gone as far as to acknowledge it as canonical. There is no canonical description of the trisolarans.

"No spoilers" the first sentence ruins a lot of the series.
It wasn't revealed in the trilogy. This should be evidence enough that it's a narrative tool, you tool.

If you could edit the start of your post with **Spoilers** please so people know not to read on. We mentioned we dont cover the books, So that other who only watch the show get to enjoy it for that alone.
(Stephen here) I must say though, I'm very tempted to read the books now. The show had me straight away, the premiss is brilliant. Maybe I'll read them before season 2 and we can have a book based Video too :)
