Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. I know right? Most stand up routines are not great, some good jokes here and there. I hate stand up in itself. But you never see "guys aren't funny" on a video of a guy who didn't do so great.

I am male…I remember I was 10 years old. My older sister was babysitting a 2 year old and my dad made me hold it… it was not even that it had to be held for a moment he just wanted to force a dumb lesson on me… i told him no but he got angry and so I had to hold this snot covered feces bag… i knew at that moment I would not be having kids.
I am 30 now… my dad is so confused as to why I refuse to get married or have children… my sisters do not talk to him and he has not met their kids.
I was his one hope of having grandkids and I KNOW for a fact that if he did not make me hold that baby… then I would have become a family man. Nice going dad. That core memory has made me decide that I will not ever be a father.
Life is not too bad.

Well, I'm an Englishman and as far as American humour goes: this was entertaining. I would easily watch her full-bodied stand-up. I for one, thought she was funny.

Comedy is subjective, as is all art.
Mainstream talk shows put very narrow constraints on comedians & this is does not show how funny she really is.
Eliza Skinner is extremely talented, funny, creative and intelligent. Shows such as this or it's contemporaries at best allow exposure to the masses who don't seek out true talent, but want generic entertainment served up night after night.
Whether it be her stand up or improv, Eliza is brilliant and hilarious.
Check her out live or on any of the podcasts she has been a guest on.
And before you leave the inevitable negative comment, when was the last time you you were television watched by millions of people?
I thought she did a great job! She kept it classy while still taking risks, so... I don't get why there's so much hate comments...

Like many indie comics, she’s not amazing at stand-up but she’s brilliant on podcasts, where there are free-form sketches. She’s great on the Todd Glass Show, for instance.

And the search continues... Crazy ex, baby jokes, nothing original really. And the execution of her material wasn't anything special. And her fake laughter in between jokes kinda pissed me off, made her look pretty arrogant. Didn't laugh once.

I'm not used to foreign stand-up comedians, but I can hardly imagine anyone ever enjoying listening to her. The timing was horrible, the topics are neither new nor funny by themselves, her acting was way over the top and made me cringe. On a scale from 1 to 10 this would be a solid -3. I really hope that she has another job so she lands on her feet when she finds out being a comedian is not her profession.
