I'm really glad the devil's backstory was revealed and honestly it's better than him being Lucifero's brother or son, or Asta's father. The story really humanizes him and shows not all devils are evil
I do have a theory on Anti Magic long story short, Anti Magic can create new spells in different forms if Liebe physically comes into contact with the spell. He can create similar spells like the absorption and sword magics, but they're powered by his anti magic energy, not mana.

This way, Anti Magic is kinda Asta's power.

Based on Asta’s mother’s abilities, it seems like she might be a descendent of Secre and related to Henry’s family (sealing and absorbing). Makes you wonder who Asta’s father was to create a child with no magic at all (unless Asta lost it when his mother was pregnant with him).

I am really happy that we finally know who Asta's devil is because ever sense the witch forest arc I have wondered who Asta's devil was and where he came from and after learning his past I feel sorry for him and understand why he wants to wipe out all devils and i'm sure he was happy when he and Asta killed Zagred. Also I have been wonder maybe Asta and Liebe were destined to work together because they have a lot in common both both were born without magic into a world where magic is everything and they we both looked down and treated as outcast because they had no magic. And maybe they were born without magic for a reason to show everyone both human and devil that you can do great things and overcome impossible odds without magic and it doesn't matter if you are high rank or low rank

Something interesting about asta's dark transformation is that he can grow extra horns just like lucifer, this could mean that a small part of lucifer power was sealed in the grimoire.

So is it possible that, since Licht possessed the five leaf Clover, when he went on a rampage, some of his mana was absorbed by the grimiore, combining with Lucifer’s magic when Libe was sealed, as well as Lichita’s mana, and combined into Libe for all those years, therefore creating anti-magic? First time I saw this manga chapter, it was amazingly sweet.
Okay, let's go ahead and cut the "It's part of Lucifer's magic, has to be because it's so strong." It counters magic, period, that's why it's "strong." It's like using Counterspell in Magic the Gathering, which tend to be low cost instants that keep your opponent from bringing out their best stuff, that's essentially all the Anti-Magic is. While it can be manifested further into giving Asta the power of flight, and to actually turn the swords into cutting tools (they can't cut anything on their own), it doesn't really do anything else.
It makes sense that lichita's magic was put in the book. Referencing the scene where the wizard kind touched Asta's sword and him commented about it draining his magic

I have a feeling that anti magic originally belonged to asta but his mom took it from him unwillingly and couldn't give it back to him, so she kept that power within herself then when she sealed liba to the book she also transferred astas magic in the book and now the book works as a catalyst for asta to use the power he orginally had to begin with

What if Henry is connected to asta's mother Lichita? Both of them steals magic power from their scope.
The write of black clover has a knack of tying everything together with all the things that's been revealed. It makes senses that anti magic is the lowest form of the devils power (if you look at ANY other devils powers, anti magic doesn't even compare) that he only gained while in the 5 leaf grimiore, these last few chapters of black clover has been great, I can't wait for it to be revealed in the anime as well.
Bruh. Anti magic is made to fight. Its made to beat every other magic.
It's made to give an under dog the chance to rebell and rise, to fight. To do Guerilla tactics. It's about slowly winning a war, toppling one piece at a time. Not just entering the under world and Squishing all the devils in one go.
It's not as usefull as the swiss army knife known as word magic. Or as damaging as Gravity/weird Bone magic.
It's about exhausting your opponent, fighting them till they run out of stamina/mana and debuffing them. A debuff which btw, Is OP.
It does damage through the swords. And also, antimagic itself can hurt, but it's not about throwing a one shotting anti magic beam.
Though I believe asta will have full blown anti magic spells. Anti Magic Beam. Anti Magic ball/Projectile. Pure antimagic weapon(That aren't actually solid weapon infused with Antimagic. Like magical/eitheral weapon).
An anti mana zone. Anti mana skin(Used better then what Asta can currently do).
Anti Magic Shield. And many other later down the line. It's kinda required and makes perfect sense for how the serie is made. It's what has to happen if it runs as long as one piece.
Yo remember that one line where in the witches forest asta was called a "little dwarf" or something like that by the AMD? Im not sure if this was a correct translation, but if it was asta's dad could be a dwarf
