Espero cuando Trabaje, me compre estas Versiones de las TORTUGAD NINJAS y los tenga ahi guardados en mi Coleccion
What was this miracle, that you got a Donatello with straight-ish eyes! Every one I saw in the stores had severely derpy eyes. That was the main reason I passed on this line. I don't want a ninja turtle having a stroke!
In 2021, between NECA and SH Figuarts, there are a lot more accurate and better options for cartoon TMNT. But that said, the fact you can still buy these for their original retail price, and the posing options you get? Yeah, I still like these. I actually made a big retrospective video on TMNT action figures last summer and realized when I was making it that I needed Raphael from this set. Went on eBay and found him, and now I’m happy to have this set. I will say, Playmates has run this sculpt into the ground though. They just announced another release with different paint deco. For me, these cartoon color versions are the best ones. Any of the recolors haven’t been as good. Cool video and I’m glad you enjoy these all these years later.

A year on and they're still using it, the TMNT vs. Stranger Things line and a new movie line are currently using it. Personally I found the Loyal Subjects figures pretty good. They're not perfect but they're more cartoon-accurate than these, and much cheaper than the NECA/SHF versions. Plus, I always felt like the Playmates ones were far too big to go with my other 6" figures because the Turtles should be shorter, the BST AXN ones are around 5" so scale nicely with DCUC/Legends/Black Series etc.
I agree with what you say. There are more accurate options, but these still look great. And when they came out, they were probably the most accurate at the time.

Wow, just the display of all four of them at the beginning looks cool. Gave up collecting Turtles for the most part because of the Walmart / Target exclusive issue and difficulty getting them. But just actually picked up two packs of Walmart's of Playmates.. despite the bad guys being actually smaller than the turtles, the turtles look good. And for 35 bucks asset. I dipped my toes and then the turtles. But not going nuts.
I got these loose from ebay, I don't know if they weren't authentic but they smelled horrible a real petroleum smell so much so my eyes watered and I had to throw them away.... do your ones have that smell?
U can get them lose on amazon for 30 something but (lose). They were like $70 something new. I think so $25 each ain’t bad. Red bandanna collection r $100. Cheap looking but charming. I like them
Assume these are the same in the two packs, with a bad guy, being offered now on Walmart. 35 bucks... Despite the bad guys being small.. not a bad price
Except the chest and maybe the forward movement of the legs because they’re turtles maybe these looks good well I’m not a fan of the goofy 80’s 90’s cartoon I like the more menacing more tall, heroic and serious turtles without the pupils like the 2003 series I hope somebody will do a new line based on that cartoon Also I don’t care about how visibile the joints are, are not ugly in every way 7/10 for everyone e except Michelangelo with metal chains that’s a plus (7.3/10)

Ohh u shouldn't have opened them I made the mistake as a kid with star wars, but bk to theses I was out yesterday came across a die cast model of Michelangelo and it reminded me of my son he was turtle mad as a kid so I must have stood in the shop for about 20 mins saying why do I want this so i decided yep i do so I was just in my room and sure enough looking at it I see my son as a little boy
Had all four of these and sold them. The articulation was annoying and floppy and I just didn't like the headsculpts, they should have had alternate smiling heads.

They have them at Burlington rite now for 8.99$ each. I got them all today. They are also showing up at Ross. Keep an eye out
I had the “movie” versions of these for years, which were certainly kool in their time, but I’m ssooo glad to have the NECA ones.
