Children & Young People's Diversity project - Lunar New Year

In 2020 Movema worked with children and young people from The Unity Toxteth, Deaf Active Old Swan and Knowsley Outreach who used our World in a Box resource to learn about Chinese dance and culture and come together to perform in front a hundreds of people to celebrate Lunar New Year in Liverpool!
Our Unlock the Box project ran for 6 years and reached out to children and young people from across Merseyside, to teach them about different cultures and get them fit and active and meeting children they wouldn't usually socialise with.
It's our 15th Birthday year and we've been looking though our archive of amazing memories getting over 100,000 people dancing! Due to the pandemic this film was never released and our project couldn't continue.
