It is good to date yourself. At any and every stage in your life, and even if you’re in a relationship.
There’s a book called The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron where she explains the importance of an “artist date” where you nurture your artistic self in various ways. She suggests doing it once weekly. It may surprise you all the ways you can nurture yourself and enjoy time alone without having to spend anything or necessarily go anywhere.
