    Hi, thank you, for your report. I have the Leica M3, too. I like to make photos with it. For 90 mm and 135 mm lenses, the M3 is the best camera. Greetings from Germany!

    Is your M2 better to see through with glasses or are you getting a diffrent Leica M camera? I have an M7 and I wear glasses. I love my M7 but find that the problem with wearing glasses is with every camera it's something I have just had to get use to.

      When I'm shooting with a 50mm, using the M2 is no problem at all. It's just when I'm shooting a 35mm lens that it's annoying. Also, I really want a camera with a hotshoe. I recently shot with my friend's Leica M6 .58 viewfinder, and that was a dream, I could even see the 28mm frame lines reasonably well. I think I'm going to save up for an M6 with a .58 viewfinder.

    what are you getting instead as a glasses wearer?

      I'm planning on saving up for an M6 TTL .58. I used my friend's copy the other day and it was great! I could even comfortably use the 28mm frame lines.

      @@devindeleonphoto What makes the M6 better for glasses specifically?

    • @devindeleonphoto
      @devindeleonphoto  8 месяцев назад +1

      @@dvdaltizer So, there's a particular M6 model with a .58 magnification viewfinder. So basically with the .91 magnification on the M3, I really couldn't see the edges of the frame with my glasses on, I'd have to peak around when framing. The rest of the M's have a .72 magnification, with those I can easily frame with the 50mm & see outside of the frame as well, this helps with composition as far as what's in the frame and out.
      However, with the .72 magnification, I'm looking towards the edges when I use a 35mm lens.
      So, by going down to the .58 magnification I'm able to frame everything much easier with wider lenses. I think years ago you could just buy that viewfinder and add it to whichever M you had, but from what I've read it's much harder to find those viewfinders these days.
