Great job, thanks! Looks to be a 3-4 beer job lol
Thank you, its not to big of a job and the beer does helps...lol
Thanks for the squeeze tip
Thx for the video. Very helpful. Code reader says cylinder 6 has misfire??? Only 50k miles. 2017 6.2 engine. Squirrel tracks on fan shrowd. Hmmmm? Checked wires. Seem good. Swap #6 coil pack with #4 and retest?
Thank you
And good luck
I havr the same problem on cylinder 7. Did your code move when you swapped the coil packs? Thanks
@urmsonjohn4332 No. Was still reading codes 0300 and 0306. Truck had been and still is running great. Got a code reader and cleared all codes. Auto parts stores will not clear codes. No idiot lights since.????
Just wondering if you are having good luck with these TRQ ignition kits ? I have been thinking about going with the same parts you have installed but hard for me to believe TRQ parts only costs like $300 versus ford which is over $2000 for the same parts?
Yes everything has worked as it should.
Thanks for watching
I know it's not a long term review yet but is everything still working good in that kit? I'm about to tackle this myself here shortly
Oh yeah no problems with it here. The passenger side will be the hard side in my book though. Depending on the year you have on how much fun your going to have.
Thanks for watching and good luck
The set you bought, have they performed pretty good from auto one.
Thank you, everything has worked perfectly
Do you have a link to the kit you bought?

How can spark plugs, wires, and coils be this much of a pain in the ass. Thanks Ford
Well, I can say the 2013 6.2 f250 is a pain in the ass because I have that truck. now the newer 2017 6.2 that I have now is not as bad.
I’m gon bring my 2019 up to you. Local shop just quoted me $2660 🙈 Unreal
It's not that hard of a job. 16 plugs and 8 coil packs. Sounds like I need to change jobs
@@dahaulers-dp2yg same! I’ll be your service coordinator
I just did my drivers side and the damn thing fought me every step of the way. Lower plugs all came out and went back in easy as pie but the wires just would not seat back on right. The uppers were all pretty easy aside from one of them somehow had a rock stuck between the side of the plug and the hole they sit in so I had to fish that thing out. Took over 4hrs for the easy side, now I’m gunshy as hell for the passenger 😂
The passenger lower 4 are a pain
Are those asgood as Motocraft?
I don't see why not, I have not had any problems with any of it
On the long haul, NO! Give them about 15 to 20 thousand miles and you'll wish you had sprung for the OEM's. More money but well worth it.
I went TRQ, motocraft platinum plugs. Big pain in the ass indeed. 2013 is harder it seems
Yes I have a 2013 also and had to pull fender wells out to get the bottom 8.
Any issues with the TRQ coils, so just put them on.
I have not had any problems out of any of it I don't remember how many miles I had on the truck when I did that video but I am up to 221000 now and no issue.
I was hoping for some good old fashion swearing .
You have no idea on how much there was... LMAO
Why is my mechanic trying to charge me $1800 for this
That's a good question. The bottom 8 are pain in the butt. The top 8 are easy.
If you are getting OEM parts, the coils are 140-150 per, then 16 plugs and 8 wires so he's adding about 300-400 labor. If he wasn't quoting for OEM parts then yes definitely a rip off.
@@TheTrev4477 the parts I bought work as they should. I have done this job 5 times on my trucks and have never had any problems.
@@TheTrev4477 you can find original motorcraft ones of ebay anytime for 150 for the whole set
