Laura, this is such a thorough, clear, easy-to-follow video on the Brother G-Carriage! Thank you for taking the time to make it! I feel confident enough to finally take my GC out of it's box and use it!
Thank you for making such a concise video. I’ve inherited a G carriage that’s been sitting in a box staring at me for over a year. I’m gong to watch this again step by step ( and probably multiple times) to tame my fear and give it a try!
Greetings from France. CONGRATULATIONS🏆🏆🏆 Thanks a million for all the time you spent on making this video and posting it on RUclips. So grateful. This video is exactly what I was looking for. So well explained and in detail. Thanks for sharing caring and making me SMILE 👍👍👍💐💐💐🥰🥰🥰
Thank you, this is sooooo clear and helpful. I just got a KG95 today and it would've taken me ages to figure all of this out. Unfortunately, the needle is not in good shape and so I will have to wait until a new one arrives before I can get going.
Thank you so much for an absolutely wonderful tutorial: it is very clear, structured and so instructive! I am an absolut beginner on a Brother KH940 and a KG 93. Are there any differences from the KH-965 to the KH-940 in your explanations I should be aware of?
@@angelcastro3129it will not work on the kh587, it will work on all punch card machines with built in rails and all electronic machines except the kh910.
Can you knit a rib with the carriage then go on to knit without it to make say a baby cardigan pattern , I’m looking at how these things work to educate what a buy ,I’m looking at this instead of a ribber ?
You can, but it depends on what kind of designs you're looking to knit. I would suggest buying a ribber unless you plan to knit mostly pieces with knit/purl patterning. Usually people will buy a garter carriage after they already have a ribber.

Hi Karl
I know this might be a little late but the needle should be bent to the right not straight.this confuses some people.

Will my pacemaker interfere with my garter carriage as it keeps stopping along the row is there anyone in Scotland repairs them
Hi, can the garter carriage work on all brother knitting machines or only electronic brother knitting machines?
I was wondering the same thing, I have a vintage Brother KH587 and I would love to see if this device would work on her. Would be cool lol

@@alyssacassity2558 thanks, I may never find a ribber for it either lol

is this compatible with a lk 150 knitting machine?
No. G-Carriages only work with Brother/Knitking standard gauge (4.5mm) machines.
