I’ve been wanting to try this. I’ve been testing Lune Feline and will probably get that one. Smells really nice. I get the Smokey vanilla with some spice. Some people describe it as a savory smell, like smoked bacon. I get nothing like that. My skin tends to suck up fragrances but Lune Feline last 12 hours on me. Obviously not super projecting but easily detectable. But Rouge Saray sounds really nice. Is there anything it compares to too? Lune Feline is compared to By the Fireplace but other than being Smokey vanillas they aren’t that similar too me.
Rouge Saray has definitely become my favorite from this house, Lune Feline fascinates me, I find it quite unique. Great review and thank you for the mention ❤️

Hahaha that's exactly what I thought before blind buying the Blanc Polychrome. Even though the smell is not good, the bottle is just stunning! But I found the gold flake in my bottle is much much less than my rose omeyyade bottle. I saw people saying Rouge Saray smells like Carlisle from PDM. Do you find they are similar?
Good review, as always. Your descriptions are in depth and enable me to determine pretty accurately whether I am interested in trying a particular fragrance. I have only tried one fragrance from this line. I believe it was Choeur des Anges. I had a tiny sample that I used once and then threw away, as I didn't really care for it. These two sound more appealing to me, particularly Rouge Saray. I am generally more drawn to gourmand and/or woody fragrances. I would love to try both samples. p.s. Thank you for being a teacher, especially in these trying times. If I were a gambler, I would bet you are a very good one.

They definitely have some overlap, but I think they are different enough to own both if you really enjoy smoky fragrances. Lune Feline is definitely heavier on the vanilla.

I haven’t tried any fragrances of this house yet and I was thinking about the popular Luna... Rouge Saray sounds more interesting especially coming into winter.
I have tried Lune Feline a couple of times and liked it but wasn’t sure of buying a full bottle because I have so many vanillas. I would love to have a sample of either fragrance but would prefer Rouge Saray.
I would choose Saray because I like the notes you described as well as richer, thicker scents mostly worn in cooler weather. I saw Indigo has started carrying these. I’m looking forward to going there when they open again I think it’s the closest niche shop near me.

Interesting about the flakes! I'll have to check mine. I haven't tried Carlisle (or most of the PDM men's fragrances) so I'm not sure.
