Just received my Bon Bon Vanille. I love it. Smells like Vanilla pod and cream. Vanilla cookies. I do pick up on the booziness in Tihota. They are very similar. Both quite soft , close to the skin on me. Tihota being the lightest on my skin. Both lovely Vanilla’s but I prefer Bon Bon Vanille to Tihota. Appreciate the price also. Bon Von is still expensive enough to buy & ship to Australia but at least not as expensive as Tihota.
Beautiful Vanillas, I'm glad you're able to experience it at such a great price! I keep thinking, one day when I win the lottery I will buy ALL the Vanillas 😁
Aweeeee, thank you so much for wear testing these!! This was very interesting!! I actually think I am going to hold off on Indult Tihota (especially since I just splurged on St Barth Vanille West Indies 😂).. and I still am head over heels in love with Bonbons a la Vanille. That is so sweet that your mom loved those two perfumes together, and I am SO glad she's doing better!! Happy vanilla scents!! 🤗🤗🥰

I have never smelled the original tihota , but I love the DUA brand tihota
If you’re interested in trying the original you can get a (small 😐) sample from lucky scent, just in case you didn’t know 💗
It smells INCREDIBLE but it doesn’t last long, so the dupes are more worth it
Hope you Love Kyse Bonbons!! I've said in the past I need a gallon of it.😅 💞 I've only tried a couple of Dua scents, need to explore the ones I've seen people recommend. 👏
@@janelle-scenttalkfrommycloset the best time to try the DUA brand scents is when they have a 30% off and now they also offer 10mls. I have about 8 bottles and my fave right now is the tihota and Eden juicy apple from kayali. My next purchase is the creamy coquito. I received a sample and it’s a beautiful creamy coconut.

Janelle, tried Duchessa de Gritti (sample from Lucky Scents). I wanted to not like but I loved it! Oh no! What to do?!??!!
Put it on your Christmas 🎄 Wishlist 😬😅 I've heard about it's delicious Cherry tone!! Sure is pricey though.
Oh!! So I was trying to pass some time at work and was reading up on Tahitian vanilla and I've seen multiple things where it says that there can be a cherry note with this particular vanilla. I find that very interesting, especially since it's my fave vanilla and cherry is one of my fave notes! Have you ever detected cherry with tahitian vanilla? 🤗
Wow so interesting!The only time any vanilla has given me Cherry where it didn't make sense to me is in Haus of Gloi Tonka Bean Tea Cakes 🤷♀️ Other than that I just drool over Tahitian Vanilla aimlessly. 😂

I just realized that Delizia di Marshmallow is 90% same as Escapade Gourmande. Except for the incense in the dry down. What do you think?😇😇😇

Janelle, we DEF need to know what you think about this one!!
That is an awesome realization!!😱 They sure do have similar qualities, they line up a bit with how the sugar and vanilla notes smell on the skin. What differs is the Escapade Gourmande has that undeniable gooey caramel in the opening that Delizia Di Marshmallow doesn't and Escapade Gourmande doesn't have that mouthwatering realistic Marshmallow that Delizia has.
And of course the Delizia Di Marshmallow body body butter would layer beautifully underneath a couple spritz of Escapade Gourmande.
Another thing is the strength and projection. Escapade's one spray fills up my little scent closet, while Delizia stays closer to the skin, but nice catch!! 🤗

Ty so much! Appreciate you! The body butters are moisturizing and very fragrant. They give off fragrance alone for a good 4 to 6 hrs, but I always layer with them. 🤗
Do we need to have both, Janelle?
I personally have been doing just fine with Kyse bonbons and my Andromeda's Moon version of Tihota. I don't think it's a need both situation, especially if you can save and get something that differs more from the original. I was really surprised with the Peru balsam smell in Kyse that I didn't pick out before though, wow.
