2 year guitar player self taught. I agree as well. I think the melodies are so freaking inspired, I can't stop playing the songs on my Squier with Boss Reverb pedal. These guys are as good as The Canons in my opinion. I think they deserve far more recognition for their originality and unique sound. Yet somehow they make more music and still stay true to their style. Unlike Tame Impala, whose goal is to make new music all the time, I only liked one his albums. I appreciate bands that don't change too much, hello The Cure! I think that is why I love these guys. They are like The Smiths, The Cure, Depeche Mode, REM fans that love to make to music. Now at age 48, I am 2 years on my own journey and freaking love Tejano Blue.

BEAUTIFUL BAND! i'm sure that many teenagers feel the same way i do but whenever i'm going through tough times, or taking a peaceful walk down the street or even just romanticizing life in the library i always play their music in my earbuds, and in spite of the fact that i've definitely played songs like K. and Flash hundreds of times, they NEVER get old. i saw them in concert the night before i turned 17 and it was such a surreal experience. and i gotta say - the mental state of a person during their teen years is arguably the most unstable and unbearable thing ever, yet CAS has become a major coping mechanism for so many of us! when i heard heavenly for the first time as a 13 year old i fell in love with their sound, and now that adulthood is right around the corner i want to thank them for being with me all these years. SUPER excited for the new album and to see them live again in september!
I've been listening to CAS for a couple years now, never bothered to google the singer, thinking she has a beautiful voice and letting my imagination create images to match the lyrics and now seeing a live performance for the first time to learn shes actually a guy named Greg... I just want to say, I think I'm not okay now.
dude i saw them twice recently and it was truly a magical experience. it was so worth it. hearing the songs live is literally an out of body experience... i particularly loved hearing tejano blue live, and you're all i want since it's one of my favorite songs. thank you greg gonzalez for providing such a good experience, CAS means so much to me

I didn't know about them until a year ago, but the vibe of just about all their songs take me back to Summer 2016 when I was with someone and the music hits like a train to the different moments.
OMG my favorite song from a band that I feel would have the same kind of playlist on my spotify. I love Greg's guitar work and his song writing and style are so beautiful. They have so many classics in my mind but Tejano Blue takes the cake for me. Nothing's going to Hurt You Baby used to be my favorite, but this was bumped to second. Third I also love Falling in Love. Hope these guys really blow and I just love the simplistic 3 person trio of drums, guitar, bass and vocalist. Damn sexy.
Whatever happens tomorrow, however the album turns out to be, i absolutely love that they have grown this much over these years and they are going places. Although I would utmost love to gatekeep them but after all these years they deserve this recognition….i hope the album is pretty fire tomorrow, please make the 5 year wait worth it😭😭😭🤲🏾❤️
