When I come to think of it; isn't Sir Michael and Ricky Gervais quite a bit similar. It's argued that comedians often are rather reclusive and no-fun privately, reluctant to open up; I could easily give some examples from my country. You see what I mean; who wouldn't really wish to be buddy with those two, and there esp Sir Michael?
Well he certainly had a go! I remember how bloody rude he was to the lady from the Bulawayo Bowls Club in Around the World in 80 days. Boiled down he was a second/third rate Alan Whicker.
