I moved out of the USA 2 years ago. I enjoyed living in the US and made good friends (from different Nationalities) but I valued myself much more than these visas and all that drama. It's a loss to the USA and not for me, although I still have a valid work visa and am now eligible to apply for GC as well. I think people from Indian Nationality should value themselves more and look for other opportunities outside of USA till they realize that it is a bigger loss to them than waiting there for priority date to become current and asking them to do something for Indian Nationalities. Its time we should take matter into our hands. We should take an agressive approach than a defensive one, wait and watch approach

I came from a business family in india from a small town, we had everything and more but I still came to US because my company sent, day and night I used to dream about india. It is the case about many of my friends. Our hearts are in India. Every time I say I want to move back my friends at US laugh and same with friends in India. Both parties discourage.
But after living here in US for 22 years, in every visit I am not finding the old india that I always loved. It has changed a lot both in good and bad way. Already families are torn apart in india too. There also people living with friends. Even if I move I might have to live away from both parents and kids to support current lifestyle. Moving back is always a toughest choice one has to face and in the end there is no right or wrong in it. All the best to you with your move.

He is happy but his Children went back to USA for higher studies . They are lonely here in India now . No situation is perfect . If he had not relocated , he would have been closer to his kids . Moral of the story is either you don’t go or once you decide to go don’t comeback . Especially if you have kids . Don’t become na ghar ke na ghat ke.

In us he would have been literally alone. She tells how much she hates this western culture. So don't worry he is way better in india.

You took a very bold decision, generally Indian society might not be happy with your decision and you can not explain to everyone.

@@yashhemrajani5608 We can understand returning back to India with a purpose not a bad idea, but the perception of India society of foreign jobs is much bigger than coming back.

It's understandable if a GC or USA citizens returns back to India. But for H1B visa holders GC dreams may not come true. Maximum time you can be in H1B status is one year. Once you complete 2 terms i.e 6 years, you have to go back to India for one year and then apply for H1B again and rate of denial is very high. Employers exploit H1B visa holders and most of them work more than 12-16 hours a day without overtime. Better to work in India or gulf countries

Salute to your thinking, having spent my year brother, you have got extreme experience of true life. Lots of people who have been tortured didn't accept the fact of the US or foreign country.
