AB HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!! What are all the things you cooking for thanksgiving? And I was thinking should I take out my turkey Monday to defrost overbite, and once thawed I am going to clean it like always do, and then brine it on Tuesday and Wednesday rinse and season it, and inject it and deep fry in the masterbuilt electric fryer for Thursday 28th 2024. It should be moist and juicy. What do you think?
The recipe on the website doesn't mention onions or oranges. Also the recipe mentions dried rosemary and thyme; do you prefer dried or fresh? I'm going to add them to my shopping list to make sure I have everything.
You’re the goat!!! Since my parents aren’t around and my grandma ain’t here either I’m always coming to your videos for advice in the kitchen. Appreciate you AB!!! 💙💙💙
Thank you Thank you Thank you! You are the only chef to show an actual "stuffed" turkey like my granny made it 👏🏾👏🏾 Everybody else only shows pieces of vegetables stuffed inside.
I agree! I've never understood why some people are paranoid about stuffing the turkey... It's simple to check it and make certain that it's fully cooked. It's 10 million times times better than cooking it in a separate casserole dish. 😋💦
I don't stuff it anymore because I smoke my turkey and it's not safe. Because I don't stuff my turkey I don't usually eat the dressing. My youngest daughter does make a killer quinoa dressing. Tha, I eat
Veteran "stuffer" here, you should stuff the cavity in the neck as well. For some reason the juices in the neck cavity self base that stuffing to perfection. Every year I hope my family will forget it's in there but they go straight for it.
I stuff the neck first. I turn the turkey over so it's on the breast side, stuff the neck cavity, then pull skin back over and secure it with a skewer. That way the stuffing won't fall back out. Then you can turn the bird back over and finish prepping.
My Nanny always stuffed the turkey with a sausage stuffing and it was the Best Ever! I used to help her make the stuffing every year until her passing since I was about 5yrs old from scratch (no Stop Top) I have followed her tradition ever since, I'm 55 yrs old now and have stuffed the Thanksgiving Turkey the same way for 35 yrs. To me, its not Thanksgiving without my Nanny's Stuffing, I guess its because I feel her their in my kitchen still cooking with me.
My mom had that same roasting pan she would cook her dressing in. This holiday season will be hard without her cause she passed away in February of this year. I miss her so much 😢
I lost my mom back in 2021, and the only reason why I continue making the turkey every year for Thanksgiving is because she always looked forward to me doing so for her, so I keep the tradition going for the rest of the family
Sorry for your loss. My mom passed last year on Nov 28th. I'm making turkey with my family but I feel completely lost without her. Prayer for your healing.
I could seriously watch you cook all day. Love your presentation and your next-door-neighbor style. Your kitchen makes me salivate, but your cooking…next level goodness. I have been making your do-ahead gravy for a few years and will be making your brined turkey for the first time this year. Never brined anything but you are giving me the confidence.
I'ma be cooking my very first turkey this year for thanksgiving & gone use this as a guide. We at a point in our family where the next generation is taking over cooking for the holidays... I'm a great cook but this I've never tried, this can be a accomplishment memory or a funny/laughable memory lol wish me luck
*EXTRAORDINARY! That turkey looks fabulous. I love it! The turkey looks juicy and the stuffing looks delicious. 🎉 Just A Suggestion… You should sell buckets for brining and covered roasters on your website. People are going to be looking for those items after watching this awesome video and seeing how delicious your turkey looks. ❤ Thanks for sharing*
@@marilynbarlow8978Make sure your bucket is food grade. When I worked at Lowe's we carried both nonfood grade and food grade. Check the label. Mr AB listen to me and listen real good❗ I went back to your old brine video and watched it everyday for 2 weeks because im going to smoke a turkey for Thanksgiving right. So... i wanted to try t your brine method before Thanksgiving to make sure i got it down. Well... I brined a whole chicken yesterday, did it just like you did your chicken with the butter and seasoning. Man❗ 2 words. IT'S HITTIN❗ Facts❗ Love your recipes. They 🔥🔥🔥

Thank you for being patient and explaining in detail how you make your turkey ! It makes for people like me who don’t know how to cook easy to follow happy Thanksgiving!
It doesn't matter where they are made. It depends on artisans and quality inspection. My family and I have bought 2 kislux bags in the past 3 years and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

I just love 💕 your turkeys 🦃, oxtails, greens 🥬, etc. You have the best on the videos! I also have to said that “Rachel Cooks with Love”💕 makes the BEST TURKEY 🦃! Your turkey is moist, but “Rachel” is so moisture inside/outside with spices and onions 🧅, lemon 🍋, thyme, etc. You get the basic. You and “Rachel Cooking with Love” as the best!

Looks SO delicious! My Mom, then me when I started making the Turkey, would put the stuffing in both ends of the bird to soak up the flavors and add some, then put whatever was left in a dish to bake alone. Also, take the stuffing out before carving then you won't have a mess after. Please AB, I'm gonna start a drinking game next video Everytime you say "know what I mean?" Lol Love you though! Your cooking is so mouthwatering!!
AB you are the BEST! I brined the turkey and served it for Thanksgiving this year instead of purchasing turkey from the Honeybaked company. Your recipe allowed me to serve a moist, flavorful bird that was so good my step daughter asked for the recipe and my husband was planning his post meal eating schedule. Everyone loved how tender and juicy the turkey was. I told them all about your RUclips channel and your website so I'm sure you will have some new fans and customers shortly. Blessings to you and your family.
I always stuff my turkeys and surround the turkey with the rest of my dressing. The best dressing is on the inside of the turkey 🤤🤤🤤 so moist!!! Your turkey is beautiful 🤩
For sure one of the best looking Turkeys. I've seen folks stuff butter under the skin and a lot of extra stuff, this year I'll probably follow your recipe. Great content.
AB we just finished dinner, everyone was raving about the turkey! It was soo good! Best turkey we e ever had! This is exactly how imma do from now one! Thank you!!!

I haven't had a stuffed turkey since I was a kid at my grandparents house. I've never personally made a stuffed turkey but I think this year will be the first. Thanks for the lessons! Happy Thanksgiving!
Question: How long should you rinse after the brine? Is it just a quick thing or is it important to really rinse thoroughly to keep it from being too salty? Thank you for sharing your great recipes. The MacnCheese AND the Garlic Scalloped Potatoes were a hit first time out! It really makes cooking more exciting when the people you cook for love what you make for them! Thank you & Happy Thanksgiving to you AB & your family💕🇺🇸
Whenever I need to cook something and feel confident in a dish I haven’t tried I come to you. You’re like an uncle to me now. Question: Did you use the butter off camera for this recipe? I only saw the spray olive oil.
Yes I can tell you're serious about this. As I'm driving back home from work ready to go to Walmart I'm also ready to take a bite out of my steering wheel. I've been following you for years man you never seem to fail you're awesome keep up the good work

Yup yup we fight over stuffing so my bird is always stuffed to the max
