Been to lakenheath and Wales ( a lot) and they were screeching a lot it’s a sound that I will never forget

0:45 Sure have. 9/11/01. Was working in Maryland as a DoD contractor. Out having a smoke break that beautiful morning. 2 Eagles screamed over head at low altitude. Due to my work knowledge, I knew that this was normally a flight rules violation in the DC Metro area. Hence, I knew something was seriously wrong. I heard the door open to the building. A colleague was standing just inside and said, 'you need to come see what's on the news'. The rest, as they say is history. The two Eagles had been scrambled from Langley AFB.
Yes Sir I've heard them my daughter was stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB and saw plenty of them there...she now is at Luke in Arizona in her 22nd year !
