- After successfully locating some larger fish near our anchorage in Papua New Guinea we had a goal to set out and land the fish of a life time for our onboard chef.

Using 2 x 16 mm rubber rail guns with single flopper straight spears is a recipe for losing big fish. You can definitely get lucky and unreal to see you all got onto great fish. But your going to lose far more then you'll land on fish over 30 kg and losing the dream fish you actually go on these trips to chase.
You’re not wrong there! For a lot of us it was our first time chasing these kinds of fish, we weren’t sure what luck we would have to find the bigger ones but we are definitely lucky to have landed them with that gear. Next time we will be much more equipped! 😁
