Happy Halloween all and welcome back to another 2D to 3D video. I am Follygon and in this video I am going to be creating a Pumpkin Wizard based on the fabulous 2D art of Koni Amandine, @koni.art on Instagram
A huge congratulations to everyone that participated in this year's Sculptober. If you would like to see more artwork from the challenge check out @sculptoberofficial on Instagram.
The Haunter artwork at 00:40 had its nametag clipped, unfortunately. That artwork is by @soonsolhong

I have to admit, all that clothing and seams were so satisfying to watch. Also I loved the music. Awesome work!
🤫 don’t tell Nintendo
hello can you make me a figure for my brother as a gift please I always see your videos and like
Please
@@Follygon Hehehe
@@alexmaroquin6644 you should email him 😊
this guy is crazy, he did everything down to the smallest details and even details that were not even in the drawing 🤯
Anyone would have done as generic as possible but this man 👌🏼
20/10
Follygon this has to be one of my favorite renders you’ve done, the clothing, the backpack, the pumpkin guy, the CATS! So amazing! Great job!!
I’ve watched this so many times!! I love this render
Her clothes are so trendy and beautiful, and her backpack, clothes, the pumpkin face are mixed perfectly together. I love the way he sculpt is so cool. So satisfying to watch this video!
The detailing is always therapeutic ✨️
Always enjoy watching your sculpts :D Keep up the great work c;
Tbh, I'd love to see a 3d-printed version of this!
Only so you could know... THIS PUMPKIN captured my eyes and attention from begin to the end of all the process, and I've loved your explanation, so cool and fun at the same time! This really made my day, keep going! Love your art! 😍
At first I was thinking about a clay sculpture I was not expecting this! Quite a pleasant surprise!
i always get inspired for do some characters while watching your videos, i love it.
I love pumpkin characters they are so cool. 🎃🎃🎃🎃
I love how all the pins at the end just made it all come together
this guy is so underrated! He deserves at least a million subs
This was so amazing to watch!!! I love the colors and attention to detail, and of course the commentary. ❤
Love the SMO cap kingdom music
I love this walkthrough. Perfect job
Folly, you are the best
I absolutely love your thumbnails.
i loved the creation of the stickers, its was so satisfying.
That would look so good in a game.
WOW!!!!! Eres increible, ahora quiero ese monito lo quieroooo
Oh man I LOVE this sculpt!! It's so fun and I love the textures you got with the pumpkin head on this one! 🤩
Quick question, for that pin that you converted into a 3D object, did you convert it into an SVG??
I regularly use that in my work flow and was curious if you did something similar.
Precisely! I typically use Illustrators low fidelity photo conversion for the best results.
Your sculpts are so clean! you are my inspiration to keep learning.
i F ing love it and it looks like a 3d print of it as well (#totally did not skip to the end)
You are making it look easy
This character would be perfect for a magical/open world game. U did an epic job on turning that image into a 3d model! 👍
I come here every time I need some inspiration
Nice work, this is incridible!!! Perfect...
Since I want to learn how to make a 3d game/3D animate learning how to do what you do will come in handy because I’m more confident in 2d drawings
the most hard thing to me is to deal with Zbrush interface and with the layers working with a wacom. I often lose control over the piece im creating.
omg is so similar to my halloween costume this year I love it
THAT WAS SO SATISFYING
he’s cutee
The first video I watched, I definitely skipped to the end and I was caught off guard when you called me out. Now looking at the process makes me realize I missed a good video. Love the content!
Wow! Legends never die..! ✨
I really love your work, I have no artistic background but im trying to learn, now working on your robot tutorial.
Quick question, how many hour of work are we looking at here?
A little under 15. Thanks and looking forward to see your robot!
@@Follygon dang that's a long long time
This looks awesome!
I'm just excited to get on blender and make some Dwayne the rock snails.
Sick! well done!
Dude when he did the “caught you skipping” bit I felt like a teachers pet hugging the teachers leg as she scolded the other first grader who cheated on a test
That's awesome 🔥
First time i actually skipped and i skipped to the part he say hello my skipping fellows XD. I never felt so bad and thought of going back through and watching it all
This is amazing work !
Very incredible!
so awesome
MY MAN CAUGHT ME SKIPPIN OH GOD
amazing really!
I swear I didn’t skip🎉😂
More like ROTTEN soup! I kid, I kid.
:O you make that look easy. makes me wanna try and learn how to do it.
🎵Glimwood tangle theme playing in the background🎵
hey thats pretty cool. do u take commisions?
Incredible !!
amazing talent, just subscribed
Hello, your work is beautiful
new follower❤
OH MY GODDDD I LOVE THIS
Amazing
This is sick !
Magic!
Should peint it in 3d
Nice and clean work! Thanks for sharing the process!
May I ask you that how did you Dynamesh the character's hand without mix the finger? By increasing the resolution?
I loved the vid!
Just found this on my recommended any I'm surprised this guy knew that some people would skip just for the same reason I came which is to see the end
👉😎👉
I think that everyone who makes this type of video knows that they are only going to see the final result but they have little hope that someone will see it in its entirety. xD
hello foligon. I would like to know if the wrinkle brushes that you use in the model are available, or if you have a tutorial on how to make them.
I was caught red-handed 😳
I was looking for this comment 😂
like the mario music
I didn't skip!
20:16 I feel pretty proud for not skipping lol
This epik af
0:29 CHOPPEEEERRRR
could you make a no game no life character called tet please i always wanted a 3d version of him.
Hiii excuse me but I have one question what is the name of the app bc I really want to try it ( pls 🙏🙏🙏)
How do you do the extrudy and boolean-ey parts? Could you point me to a tutorial of that?
Is this a good practice? Sculpting like the folds of the jacket, instead of making a real clothe physics?
3D art looks so perfect yet flawed at the same time
i like to watch the whole video and skip back for the renders to get call out by follygon
Just one question about your course. I don’t use the program you have for sculpting, but I do use Nomad Sculpt for the iPad. Do you think I could still follow along using that instead?
Yes, use what tool you are most comfortable with. However, do keep in mind that my course is taught using ZBrush. Tools and tips may not translate to other software, but aesthetic and fundamentals will be applicable no matter what tools you are using. Luckily my course mostly focuses on sculpting from an aesthetic standpoint. I have many students that use Blender, Nomad, and other 3D software.
@@Follygon Thank you so much for responding! I’ll keep this in mind when I take it 😁
What program are you using?
zBrush
I skipped to where you said I know I caught you skipping😳
Anyone know what kind of jumper this pumkin guy is wearing?😊
What program does he use? I would love to try to dive into this program and 3d sculpt
i love watching you work, but i also get mad because your so damn good and when i try to make things i fail hehe
caught me skipping but i sub and like
Is there a tutorial in Nomad for beginners?
bro how much time it will take you to reach here
Amazing work
Good
Thank
Yrs
do u offer your items in other website , I don't really like gumroad
where do I get a statue of this but for every holiday
Love the luigis mansion music 👍👍
Rebecca cyberpunk plz
How much of these tools can be transferred to blender?
Man this was such a fun one to watch, it was so oddly satisfying, the pumpkin and the clothes especially had such a tactile feel to them
Also you think you could include the vertex count somewhere in your ui? It’d be helpful in future videos to get an idea of how complex these models are
Edit: I’m dumb, I’ve watched every follygon video and somehow missed that that was dead center at the top.
This was somewhere around 35-40 mil. I don’t really keep track as it doesn’t matter for sculpts.
@@Follygon thanks! And I find it helpful for comparison because I have to keep my sculpts below like 15-20 million or things start to slow down, so it’d be worthwhile to have that information on screen just for reference to see how the complexity develops over time and better understand your work flow
It is on screen in the top middle of the UI through the entire video.
@@Follygon whoops my bad! I’m so blind, that’s super embarrassing! Thanks for pointing that out
What app did you use😊
What app did you use to make the 3D pumpkin
What you use to make these?
Did you got any answer?..
What is that render program?
What kind of ide you are using
What software do you used to render this sculpt ? Really great work also !
I believe he uses Blender for final renders.
why don't u offer your items in art station ?
What are your system specifications ?
