Honestly the way the video was shot makes this style of comedy perfect my reaction is doubled over in laughter and the camera captures the view if I were to actually be there in the audience doubled over in laughter. This is hands down a masterpiece released to us for free.

Sam is the Smartest man on the mic right now. His book Running the Light is amazing. his podcast guest spots are top tier. the recent Kill Tony episode with Sam and Mark and Ari was one the best episodes this year. The world needs more Sam Tallent and the worlds about to get a little bump

Make no mistake, Sam is self-made, put in the work, etc. I get what you're saying, but it's more of a "Real recognizes Real" situation. Sam is more than Big enough to substantiate his own gravity well!
Honestly the way the video was shot makes this style of comedy perfect my reaction is doubled over in laughter and the camera captures the view if I were to actually be there in the audience doubled over in laughter. This is hands down a masterpiece released to us for free.
I met Sam Tallent at a bar in Toronto, bought his book and offered him a joint while we watched a comic fight a patron. Sam passed on the offer. I have since developed an intense drinking problem and would like to offer Sam a drink next time he’s around.
Sam is a brilliant writer and comedian. I love how his writing style in standup and in books differs. Fun to read and listen to

He has a little bit of Norm in him. Not like he’s ripping off Norm at all. He just does such a crass set, but the quality of his writing and the depth of his vocabulary belies a hidden wisdom. I need more.

@@cp-sh9nj I love Kill Tony but I haven’t had time for it since the early days. I need to watch it more for sure. Sometime a few years ago I had to cut down on the number of podcasts I listen to. I still see clips that go viral but that’s it. It seems like it’s only gotten better. Somehow I missed Sam. I’m gonna go look up his appearances. Thanks!
