Bhangra is an energetic, traditional folk dance which originates from the region of Punjab. Its roots go back to commemorating the harvest season in celebration. Today, Bhangra continues to retain its traditional essence, while also incorporating contemporary beats. Bhangra's influence is popular all over the world, as it is performed at weddings, parties, and many other celebrations!
