And now that we're not a spirit our bodies give us more of the 7 deadly sins we can experience. Now we're not sure if a all knowing God is watching us . He won’t even consider the fact that the edition of that same version he himself is using is actually from A.D. 1750 to reflect changes in the English language in only 139 years. Consequently, when he claims that the Bible is not open to interpretation he really means to say that only the “King James Version” is not open to interpretation.

No humility whatsoever and no acknowledgement that either party’s beliefs could be wrong. That’s a strong indicator that both ARE (wrong). Of course with all the posturing there is no demonstration that A god actually exists, let alone the one these people claim to believe in, that he actually had a son, that that son was divine, that he died for anyone’s sins, that he was resurrected, etc. Utter bollocks, all of it.

So how do you figure a belief is a lie if you haven’t proven that the belief is a lie?
How is the commentator sure that none of the Jesus’s are the right Jesus, just because there are different Jesus’s people believe in?
That like saying that just because there are 120 different apples none of them have the right sweetness just because there are 120 different apples.
That way of thinking just doesn’t make any sense?
Also why would the point that gaining the ultimate prize needs to be earned if one freely chose to get it as opposed to you are going to get the prize whether you like it or not, means that Jesus is being a jerk?
How does that make any sense?
Why does the commentator assuming that either position regarding how evil came to being is not true PROVES that neither position is false?
Why does the mere point that just because the commentator prefers to have a Bible that requires no interpretation needed proves there cannot be a God who has provided a way that one can personally test to see which belief is correct by asking that God in faith if one, are you there?, second, if you get the assurance, there is a God, ask if Jesus Christ is divine?, and third, if you get that assurance ask if a certain religion is the right religion to be a part of.
If one wonders which interpretation is right why not try to ask the source in faith and see what happens?
It doesn’t hurt to try it out, especially when there is no proof presented so far that either proves or disproves any of the Gods presented, so why not try that out and see what happens?

For those interested in the scholarship:
According to the general consensus of scholarship *(even critical Christian scholars),* YHWH was originally incorporated into the Canaanite pantheon as a son of the Canaanite high god El before inheriting the top spot in the pantheon and El's wife Athirat (Asherah) before religious reforms. If you want to see if El is fictional, just read his mythology in the Ugaritic/Canaanite texts. His pantheon in Ugarit is called the *Elohim,* literally the plural of El.
"When El was young, he came across two beautiful Goddesses washing their clothes in the Sea. They were Athirat (Asherah) and the Goddess Rahmaya, and, after buttering them up by cooking a meal for them, he asked them to choose between being his daughters or wives. They choose the latter and became the mothers of the Gods Shachar "Dawn" and Shalim "Dusk"."
*"First, a god named El predates the arrival of the Israelites into Syria-Palestine.* Biblical usage shows El was not just a generic noun, but often a proper name for Israel’s God (e.g., Gen 33:20: “El, the God of Israel”)."
"I should add here that it is very clear from the grammar that the noun nachalah in v. 9 should be translated “inheritance.” *Yahweh receives Israel as his “inheritance” (nachalah), just as the other sons of El received their nations as their inheritance (nachal, v. 8).* With this verb, especially in the Hiphil, the object is always what is being given as an inheritance. Thus, Israel is given to Yahweh as his inheritance. ((Here I’m indebted to Dan McClellan.)) It would make no sense for Elyon to give himself an inheritance. Moreover, as I’ve argued elsewhere, it is not just the Gentile nations that are divided up according to the number of the sons of El. It is all of humankind, i.e., “the sons of Adam.” This clearly includes Israel. And the sons of Adam are not divided up according to the number of the sons of El, plus one (i.e., plus Elyon). They are divided up, according to the text, solely according to the number of the sons of El. *Thus, that Yahweh receives Israel as his inheritance makes Yahweh one of the sons of El mentioned in v. 8. Any other construal of the text would constitute its rewriting."*
