How to put geographic lat/lon projection elevation dem at snap? There's a gap at 30:06 . just figure out, do not change WSG 84 (keep it default) and allgo the rest is exactly how it should be. Thank you for the video.

Hi there, thanks for the video, it is indeed a good method for areas without dem data.
After I studied and followed the steps, and read the comments, I have already know this method is not applicable for urban and vegetation areas, this is a pity.
My goal was to generate the latest and accurate-to-a-certain-extent (within 30) dem for my AOI, since you know, most of the publicly-available dem data were from like 10 years ago.
Apparently this method is not going to help me with my goal, but I do have a few questions:
    1. what is the actual resolution of such a generated dem and how can you check this? With the pixel size?
    2. how do you cover your AOI during the spit and burst step? In the video you can see that the burst grids only cover part of the red square, right?
    3. I generated a dem by following the video and exported the tiff files, but when I compare it with the srtm dem, there is a very big difference on the band values, espeecially the band values, the generated dem has values on band 1, 2 and even 3 and 4, but the srtm only has band 1, how so?
    4. Do you happen to know any other way to help with my goal? I could really use some of your professional experiences on this 🤣🤣
Looking forward to your replies and thanks in advance 🙏.

    Thanks for the video
Why do we choose the basic criteria in the negative (-) direction?
Also why do we choose the closest vertical criteria?
Why is there no vertical criterion in the minus (-) direction in a sentinel image dated Oct 04, 2014?

Hi, The baseline of two images of an area needs to be above 150 to generate a DEM from sentinel 1 images. it should not be less than 150 so we've used a number greater than 150. Also, in terms of the images period, it is important that the periods of two images with 150 baselines must be less than 6 months. So we can't use images that have a baseline greater than 150 and greater than 6 month time period. So in addition to the baseline above 150, the time periods of our images should be less than 6 months.
