In regards to the lack of pressure due to leverage on the long pole, I have attached a large water bottle to the end of my carbon fiber, water fed pole. When I have it extended past a few meters I just fill up the bottle. This adds 2 to 4 kg (depending on bottle capacity) of downwards pressure on the brush without any extra effort. I can literally brush holding it with two fingers. Very effective and also very easy and costs nothing.
Appreciate it. Willingness to share your insight. Im in Palm Springs Ca since 1981. We get huge Solor panel residential homes. 100 plus and I use a waterfed only. you convinced me. What about Panels with no pitch? I squeegee them arg ...impossible.
So ,on the rotary you use a high pressure washer , but you just use regular faucet water, correct?? Or do you use the Tucket DI hooked up to fed the pressure washer??
Not worth it. You will likely forget to turn them back on occasionally which can really annoy some customers and means a return visit sometimes. Panels are designed to run in all weather. The only thing I would never do to a live panel is spray the edges (where the glass meets the aluminum) or the mc4 plugs directly with a pressure washer. You shouldn’t be doing this even when the panels are off though. So no, it is not necessary.
So there are questions here that you never answered. If you don't use tap water, what kind of water do you use. I think we would like to know. A partial answer could be confusing. Thank you
so I wonder - with the cost of solar panels when buying and installing and then maintaining them - do they ever pay off, seems the money you would save on energy, you'll pay more for them panels and cleaning
For some it’s an obvious yes and for some it’s no. You need to factor in fast rising energy rates too. Cleaning is one of many things you need to consider. It’s the thing that solar panel sellers ignore though unfortunately, they often tell you that the panels are self cleaning which is ridiculous.
Dude - what on earth is all that soapy foam on the windows you’re using with WFP!? - are you squiring dishwashing liquid or using some sorta detergent injector? You should never be needing to use soap of any kind for DI WFP my man

Awesome tip, appreciate the extra knowledge

Awesome video Edgar, thanks for the shout out. You & Reyes is killing it with your educational video's. 👏👏👏 keep up the great work.
Appreciate you Mark! Thanks for the support
Starting with a water fed pole because of cost but once I get myself going you better believe the switch is coming
Great to hear! Hear to help out any way I can
Love your videos. Keep up the good work man.
Thanks for the support and motivation
That's huge cost for both brushes. With an engineer mindset i can make rotary in less than 500$ in Pakistan
From my experience once the customers see my racenstein brush and setup , the water fed pole guys get fired/replaced.😂
Professional tools will always get noticed!
Hahahha 😂
Where did you brought your rotary brush with pressure washer?
Good job, I'm from Portugal and I want to set up a business like this in Portugal, can you tell me where to get this equipment?
Thank you very much.
Skid and brush can be purchased from Mark at AmPw in Lake Elsinore. He also ships worldwide

You NEVER use tap water for cleaning solar panels.
@@allonesolarshine thank you
Do you use the de ionized water? And if so what filter do you use with your set up?
I just order my rotary brush I can’t wait to use
Which did you get?

Where can I get one
QUESTION DO YOU TURN OFF THE PANELS WHEN YOU CLEAN THEM
No, never

How do you price solar panel cleaning?
Work for profit

Are you just extending the 15ft hose with the pressure washing hose for the rotary brush?
The 15’ hose goes through the pole, so every time you extend the pole, you extend the hose. Not quite sure I understand your question
@@allonesolarshinecan you use a longer hose then 15ft with the rotary ?
What’s your strategy to getting big commercial jobs?
Does this rotating brush get rid of the bee poop?
Yes it helps

Do you kill power from panels before cleaning? ty
Never
So their is s price difference between the 32 and the 39. Does it really matter which one to get?
No, just size is all
What kind of pressure waaher do you use?
About 3 gallon 2500 psi

Dope Video !!!!
Appreciate the support!
Do you happen to know the gpm on that brush?
Rotary brushes are roughly between 2-4 gpm depending on the brush
What pressure washer do you use for the rotary brush?
Just a 2500 psi but ideally run it at around 1200
How big of a water tank will I need to clean 3-4 homes to start off? 1200 vs 2500 psi pressure washer?
Thanks for your help🙏
The tools is kind of what seperates the boys from men i feel like... but hey money is a real factor just make sure you reinvest. Thanks for video!🎉
100% I understand everyone’s budget can differ but doing absolutely what is best for the business goes a long way
