Seen it and I've always liked the radio station explores.
I did a utube search and there's many I've yet to see.
Jay did great , felt like I was on the explore with him, could hear the tunes from long ago ❤
Yuppers, I already did, nice explore there as well.
Google search snake hill cemetery documentary
Hi, I've watching your videos for a long time. I have a couple areas in PA that I would love to shoe you. An old asylum they just shut down it was been open since 1890's. Also underground abandoned tunnel turnpike. I would love to explore it with and show you more of the darker past of PA
. Thank you. My name is Kate
There is an old coal mine under the cemetery where my Dad’s parents are buried. There’s subsidence all around the grounds. My Mom’s Dad wanted to be buried outside the city away from the mines. He was a miner and was injured and blinded in a mine explosion. He said he didn’t want to go “back to the mines”😢
So it’s him that’s haunting the mine.
I don’t know if this will really help but.. your grandparents there.. Everything gets reclaimed by the earth. Everything breaks down, and organic materials recycled. Meaning that will eternally be their resting spots. The mines? Over time they will likely crumble, fill, change. But nothing can change the fact that your grandparents were laid to rest there. Even if the whole thing opened up and collapsed? Well..then the mines are filled in, but..your grandparents are still resting there. Organic material being reused to create new life that will burst from the soil and skywards.
@brie3679, their bodies are there, but not the soul.
Nice explore, the "smoke stack" is a typical ventilation shaft. They served dual purposes, they where used during the construction to speed it up, rather than start at one end or even both ends to meet in the middle they would dig down vertically and start digging and blasting towards each other. Then they lined them with bricks as they worked on finishing the full tunnel after the pilot tunnels where complete and then lining that, after construction they acted as ventilation. They fine tuned the depth/length of each tunnel with the extra "Chimney" on top so it would encourage the desired air circulation, the tuned lengths would create an upward draft from some and induction from the portal or other shafts.
@Nonarei cool.
So neat how the "smoke stack" cut through the rock upwards was crudely shaped then dressed up with a nice looking facade on surface.
Very interesting, amazing what was built all those yesrs ago and still in decent condition, thanks Jay & Chris 😊
Awesome video! I was born & raised in the neighboring town of North Bergen, NJ. From the early 1970's through the early 1980's, me & my friends practically lived at this spot. We spent many days & nights partying there. Above & off to the side of the tracks was a hangout spot that we called Slippery Rock. The train was still running at least once a day and we would ride the train through the tunnel & hop off in Edgewater. If anyone has any questions about this spot, hit me up and I'll try to answer as best as I can. Peace! Thanks for the video, Chris!
Thank you, Chris!❤
You’re welcome😆
Great job Chris, best stories and adventures all the time!
Tunnels are amazing. I live in Brockville Ontario Canada. Home of the oldest railway tunnel in Canada actually exists under the downtown core of Brockville, Ontario. They have reworked the tunnel and it's open to the public to walk thru come and see!! I enjoy your videos!!
I just love watching your channels and what adventures you’re going on. How do you find out about this stuff? It’s very interesting and often fascinating. Some make me sad and others make me want to go out and have an adventure too.
I love this, Thanks! I do a lot of research and reading about random history. It also doesn't hurt to have friends who also have cool spots to check out haha.
Wholesome
NYS&W Fairview-Edgewater Tunnel. Enter thru Fairview, mile later you’re in Edgewater NJ ❤🚂
Awesome editing as well as the video and the history.
That one segment around the 2:00 mark with the water dripping down mysteriously in the dark eeriness from the ceiling brought me right back to 1979 watching that classic science fiction movie "Alien"!! Spooky!! Jim C.
Now that you say that, it kinda did yeah! Some hanging chains and Chris taking his cap off and soaking his head in would’ve made it perfect 😅
Even though the cemetery was "established" after the train tracks were there, I would go check the graves. There's a cemetery in my neighborhood established in 1890, but there are graves from 1830s, etc... Thanks for the video 👍🇺🇸
Yes i started wondering if the graves were safe. Glad they are. Hi Jay and enjoyed the video.
It’s always cool to see you do a collaboration video Chris. Keep up the great work and take care!
Cool 😎! The smoke stack would be near in your backyard 😂😂
'End of the line' lol. Nice hat too
We appreciate your content. We will support you no matter what.
Two videos in a week nice 😊
This is an absolutely Excellent and well researched documentary. Thank you both very much, you guys are Awesome!. 👊🏻
Back in the 80s when I was a kid about 12 years old me and two of my friends entered the portal on the western side and exited over by the river. Was quite an act of bravery as the tunnel was big taboo supposedly having “devil worshippers” and murderers living in it. All was well and the 3 children made it through and then walked back home up and over the hill getting home before night. Other then the black face from the coal dust, we made it and nobody ever knew. 30 years later, my father moved to Henry street where two houses down, was the air shaft in someone’s back yard. It didn’t take me long to realize WOW! I was always curious where that shaft went up to, and my dad moved right next door, how strange. I want to say that the portal to this tunnel impressed me so much, that I became a tunnel enthusiast and explored abandoned mines, train tunnels and sewers, over a hundred of them. Little did I know, the true darkness that was calling was esoteric and, that darkness is very, very close and intimate to all of us.
Thanks Jay and Chris
I found an article on “only in your state” that discusses the presumed hauntings… The tunnel has three openings, its entrance, exit, and a giant vent (it was to eliminate carbon monoxide poisoning from the rain smoke).
Awesome Video👏🏻Thank You For Sharing!🙂👍🏻
You couldn't pay me to walk through that tunnel 😄
I had that same thought seconds before you brought it up - like what if the caskets fall through?!! Glad to know I’m not the only one. Super cool find! Thanks for sharing!!
Excellent adventure! Learn something new everyday!😊
Great explo exploration and history lessen thanks for the video and thanks for taking us alone

I like when you and Jay go out together. The other guy too, his name escapes me ATM. It's safer for both of you and you bounce ideas and information back and forth.
Wow!! Another world 😮
You find So many hidden gems🌟
Love everything you post! Been following you forever 💙🙏🏻🌟
Crazy that you never said where this is!! 🙄🤨
AMAZING VIDEO!!!!
"only feet above here are dead people" then a decomposing foot drops from the ceiling.
There are railway tunnels in the UK that still have these vents in the ceiling
Wow what a cool place. I'll bet it's pretty scary going through there at night time.
Thats a neat tunnel
This one is very cool! Thanks for walking through so we could see the full tunnel. Too bad there weren’t any coffins, j.k.
Great Video 💯💯💯💯
I know a GAME cigarillo wrapper when I see one 😂 0:53
It is very interesting. And thank you Chris for these great video 👍
Haven't been keeping up with youth videos lately.been slacking hard lol..so I got a bit of a back catalog to work thru! Looking forward to it
Hard hats might have been a good idea for that underground adventure.
I'm surprised it wasn't full of bats ? Thanks for the tour.
YOU’RE THE MAN BROTHER!
Super cool 😎
I can't help but wonder the distance from the bottom of the graves, and where the top of the tunnel begins....
Any information on that?
The calcium build up if from all the devolved bones from up above............spooooky
That kinda looks like the tunnel and cemetery used as a filming location in the 1988 movie "Return of the Living Dead part 2"
Holy sh*t, was just thinking that…was waiting for the the slimey undead dude to jump scare him!
Cool Vid ⚜
I was relieved to see you had someone to go in with you😮😅
I've watch a few of these abandoned places videos. I always find them fascinating.
But I wish you urban explores would wear a hard hat.
quiet neighbors :)
😂 This is true
UGH...... That water dripping in the tunnel, what is it picking up as it filters through the old rotting caskets? Just food for thought. "Sorry, I'll go home now."
That all depends on who you are burying. Some people should go a few feet deeper.
Very cool 👍
COOL explore
Always interesting 🥰
That’s body juices flowing through the ceiling they’re dripping on you
Hello!!!!!
The best youtuber
Were those cable boxes of some sort at 9:45. ?
I wouldn't want that dead people water juice dripping on me...
bore holes. used to check the alinement and removal of spoil
I don't know how you do it. I'm half way thru yr video and I'm dieing. Gotta go.
That’s crazy! I cannot believe that tunnel is just sitting there open like that! 🫢
Always Great videos, would love to see you do a Karen Silkwood video
8:23 i thought that rock has a head... lol
Just the one lol
I bet that dripping water is chock full of deceased loved ones!
I certainly would NOT purchase a home with a huge chimney in my back yard, that’s just very strange, nor near a cemetery, WTF? What happens if that behemoth Chimney starts to collapse? F-that noise!
That’s NJ real estate for ya 😂
@@samanthab1923 👍🏽
Calcium? You mean bone juice 🤣💀
Must like all that leaking sewage dripping on them lol!
1:59 From a corpse who was a heavy drinker.
😉
😂
Ha..i went in this tunnel with my friends...as teen we did it without flashlights...it was exciting times.we came out black full of soot. Look up midway there is an opening you cam see the sky.
We went at night..
Gosh it felt so much longer...and the entrance had huge icicles.!
Oh and we hung out at the warehouses too. .we loved doing photo shoots.
A more appropriate question would be: “What came first? The dinosaur or the egg?” 😉
The "smoke stack" would be to ventilate because of the steam engines ..
Body purified spring water
No, a casket can't fall through 60 plus feet of solid Rock!
“Interesting”
Manhole
What was the technology and need for a septic system under a train track inside a tunnel?
Wow a brick roof seems like a very bad idea. Tuck pointing (replacing cement btw bricks) is necessary in even the most quiet neighborhood buildings. In a structure that by it's very nature is under enormous stress? Really really not smart.
It’s NJ, probably some kick back scheme 😮
A cemetery should never have been sited over a tunnel and a tunnel should never have been sited under a cemetery !
Ive listened to victims of human trafficking stating that they used these for nefarious purposes.
How much coverage from the tunnel to the surface
the town drunk dug it and he dug it too deep... unbeknownst to me he's still down there asleep...
Many unanswered Questions in your Expeditions the only thing I can see is money spend for Nothing in most Cases Tax Payers Money can feed the World. Secrets/and more secrets/in some cases they never use at all...sad ,,,,but good to Watch.keep doin it
Corpse juice dripping down the walls.
Just think pull on one brick everything might come down 😮
😎👍
Mmm showering in dead people water. 5:14
What city is this by / in ?

Hey guys, that was cool, if you don't believe everything you hear, you go check it out yourself, it was creepy enough, and it looked like risky business to venture through, better you guys then me, ha-ha!!!!!!! it was cool... Greg the Egg.
Wonder from where all this calcium come from...
1$(SILVER DOLLAR)=ABOUT 25-30$ FED RESERVE CRAP..
