Not only did i learn but i also feel more relaxed…you are the Morgan freeman of the Fly tying world..your calm soothing voice oozes chill vibes…keep up the good work
As we are used to. Just magical. Absolutely top. I said it before and stand to it, you are the Michelangelo in the flytiers world. As always, tight lines 🎣 from the Čech Republic 🇨🇿.
Oh my goodness, that was me! Mr, you made my day. It was truly something I noticed that if I held my light a wee bit further back as apposed to real close, it cured the resin a bit slower but it did it through and with no tack. When held the light right up against it, it seems to "cook" it an it always left tacky. Thanks for mentioning this, it truly maked my day. I hope people try it.
Hi August on the Fly, I'm glad you liked that I mentioned what you said as it does make sense to me and I'm sure many will give it a go and let us know how they get on...Thank you again.. All the very best Davie
Hi dongil123, It was just below the eye though this was a good feather as the quills were lovely and light in colour..I'm glad you liked the buzzer.. All the very best Davie

very similar to a mosquito larva, I knitted similar ones, catchy !!
Love your innovative tying davie stay well
Makes sense I've often wondered why the resin smoked at times
Yes! It's also my belief that smoke was never a good thing when curing.
Баззер - класс! Благодарю, Дэви!👍🤝🇰🇿

That is a very pretty fly, but the name sure is a big mouthful. ;-)
Love that buzzer🥰 were you using more of the peacock eye or further down the feather for the body? Looks great thanks Davie👍
Hi dongil123,
It was just below the eye though this was a good feather as the quills were lovely and light in colour..I'm glad you liked the buzzer..

Great pattern! Can you recommend tweezers Davie? The ones I have just don’t seem to grip at all!
Supa:-)
what is the difference between floss and thread?
I love how the floss underbody shows through where the quill wraps aren't touching. I deliberately tie them that way.
👍👍👏👏
