I tried using another channel's build that was similar to this but used jump + L1 instead of staying grounded. Their rationale was that since curved swords hit 4 times during a jump attack it was more effective. I used it for a while and found that you had to be fairly good with your timing, otherwise, you weren't getting all 4 hits, esp if your target is small. I switched over to just running and using L1 to set up my attacks as you suggested. Works better and has a lot fewer misses.

Nice to see this it into a video. I used curved swords for my very first blind playthrough. I started as the duel scimitar class and eventually upgraded to the healing one and the scavenger myself. The running 4x hit is great.

Love the content and approach here. I’ve been running the same thing except for using the gross messer curved sword or bandits curved sword. Same blood loss slight damage increase.
Your explanation regarding L1 vs jump attacks was the selling point for me. I'll be giving it a go.
Yeah it change everything i mean most of the curved sword that i used to like very much and build around are use to be with sprint instead of jump
Yeah i used too sometime its the one that i will change over something else beside the situation... Rightnow im trying to experiment rotten/poison build with curved sword (beast men) it does tremendous damage and at last i found an utility for the snake shield this thing bite hard man... Usally 2 shot the opponent who hes surprised by mile never sees something as this weirdos with champi crown margit outfit ...
Yeah except maybe for specific situation or a boss ... You want to sprint trought ennemies and foe with curved sword not spamming unreliable jump set

Regardless jump versus sprint i dont like to spamming jump...quite risky also sometime. I prefered to run and sprint trought my opponent. Thats what it work for me. "-A Dps dead dont do damage at all"

I’m guilty of making a build off this sword jumping but I find I do the run more often and not a fan of being stuck with the jump attack boosting armor. However I was doing occult instead of bleed infinity and going a bit heavy into arcane for some fire and blood incantations. Supposedly this was to make the build more of a high damage regardless of whether an enemy or boss was able to be bled. I suppose I could ditch the jump attack boosts and try for a bit more poise with my current build. Good content, my first visit.

@@TitusActualGaming I switched over the talismans, the flask to thorny & stonebarb, and changed the seppuku from occult to bleed and now the build is night and day better and so much more efficient without the jumping lol. But honestly that's what I expected with your version of the build.. thanks alot I really appreciate it

Dont need to respec if you are running my samurai 3 in 1 bleed god build brother, I purposely built this on the exact same stats!
I found that a great alternative to run as a placeholder in your offhand is the Serpent God's Curved sword. It has less bleed scaling but in turn offers the amazing sustain of healing on kills. Since this build shines during mobbing, it makes you even more open to being able to trade with that high poise. It's a great alternative to tide you over into NG+ until you get your hands on the second Scavengers. It's also a great way to incentivize popping double Seppuku more often by relieving the need to use flasks to top off that small chunk of HP you spend each time you buff up.
This is exactly what im running too ... Also with the blaspheeous blade sometime put hoarfrost on it for those insta life steal... It carry all the way my first trought. And ive seen noboby talking about this true interesting and nice weapon. You can buff... Life steal... No weight load. ...

Enjoying watching these, especially the vids where you try explain yourself to the skeptics lol, you shouldn't waste your time. And yes, I saw your last comment and I should mention that I would definitely have completed my video a lot sooner if I had come across your channel earlier. Luckily I did have Geek No1 and GameZone to study from, though they weren't explaining what they were doing in detail so I kind of just had to look at the weapon's, spell's, and talisman's icon they were using and look for them myself and study them, also their channels were not in English so it made it even harder in the beginning.

Double curved blood swords was my first build. Absolutely tore everything to shreds.
@@Miiiics I started with the curved swords that drop off skeletons. I got a lucky drop off the one in the southern area weeping peninsula by the church. I then put the art you get from fort haight

@@Oldschoolratz84 nah I don’t use shield builds. What I love about Titus builds is they are a base with flexibility and customization but the base is there.
Just beat journey 8, which to my understanding is as hard as it can get and your builds still work wonders 👌

Hi man, I suggest you trying the occult affinity on both weapon, this is because adding the seppuku on them reaches the bleed buildup cap, so it's not needed to put the bleed affinity

Dude is telling yall to run blood affinity rather then occult on a blood based weapon LMFAO the funniest part is in the video he goes in on a people not knowing the game and its mechanics but then says that shit.

Much higher blood loss buildup, means procs on every swing instead of every third swing, I will trade 10% of a boss health bar (hundreds to thousands of damage on a proc) over like 50 more AR from Occult all day any day. You should google the term DPS, its a little different than AR. But continue the joke

I’d love to see your analysis on which set up and spread would best leverage the interaction between fire and frostbite.
I suspect some spread involving a cold scavenger’s and magma blade. Being able to apply frostbite and bloodloss is quite strong when it comes to setting off damage chunks.

ive been on 137 level, u actually can invade and co op on that level range for 150 and 125. A LOT OF ACTIVITY.
I knw this is an old video, but important point i think should have been mentioned, the sprinting L1 attack with curved swords is the same as the jumping L1. This make the curved sword build (to me) way more versatile, no longer hindered by jumping L1’s.
This build slaps and taps. Shake n bake! Bandits curved sword or grossmesser could also be replacements for a 2nd scav sword.

Another option is to go with occult which actually makes them scale with arcane as well as proc bleed even faster.
It actually does a little more physical damage but you proc bleeds way less with occult. So you only want to run occult on bleed immune bosses

For new players rivers of blood is still king, this just adds a 4th playstyle to my 3 in 1 bleed god build
@@TitusActualGaming I think that attack speed will increase dps in a big way over rivers bc you also run seppaku on both swords thus more bleed, plus I like how you can wear heavier armor for better survivability. Definitely gonna try this 100%

Thank you for really helpful guide, just one thing I want to mention, blood infused bandit curved swords will have slightly higher damage and same bleed proc as scanveger but they weigh more, so slight downside.

How do I make it blood infused
You should power stance two Bandit’s Curved Swords instead. It has the same Blood Loss buildup of 108 but with a higher total AR of 488 at +24 with 50 arcane, 54 Dex, and 24 strength. You can farm multiple of them in a single play through and it seems to scale a bit better getting a higher AR. It weighs slightly more but IMO the small difference is worth it for the higher AR.
Do they hit 4 times on the running l1 attack like these?

Regarding the Godskin Peeler, is there a reason you would use that specific twin blade over eleonoras? Scavenger blades are insane I’m thinking of building a backup twin blade style play since they use the same base stats.. love your vids, subbed.

I ran this for my first playthrough, and the scimitar is a good replacement to powerstance.
You should try that with the occult affinity. It's like this... only I'm not sure why it does a LOT more damage. Also let's you stack just arcane, as occult scales off of arcane.
it does, you get a bit more AR , not worth the trade off of the huge loss in blood loss buildup though. Stick to blood, except on bleed immune bosses then go occult.

Quick question: What do you think about switching the swords to Occult and going 80 arcane for crazy bleed procs?
(Edit: Switching to Occult also bypasses Bleed resistance so your weapons still hit hard on bosses like Radagon & Elden Beast.)

check out that vid, this build uses the same stats and everything essentially giving you a 4th option. That is a great call on non bleedable bosses to switch to arcane. I wouldn't bother respeccing stats, just switch to arcane and go knock them out. The beauty of this is being able to use the other 3 builds without any need to respec.
very detailed video, really love it, how about comparing the scavenger with uchigatana? I see it produces the same bleed build, even the base damage is better for uchigata, there seems to be something wrong with my comparison, please correct me
The Scavenger is much faster and the running and jumping dual attack hits 4 times instead of 2 for guaranteed instant bleeds

Since you need NG+ for the dual wield, would you recommend this as a 4th option to your lvl 150 bleed builds setup? Or do you think it's different enough that it could benefit from a fresh build?

I made this to be a 4th option to the 3 in 1 lol, good call brother. This just adds another variant on the same stats.
You can use a frost curved sword to carry you through to NG+, its what I have used my no upgrade SL1 run

I like to go occult with seppuku so I have higher ar and still cause bleed easily and be able to hurt enemies that are resistant to bleed. Also tried one with seppuku blood and the other with chilling mist cold and it hit pretty hard.
I do the same , this build is definitely better for bleed but when it comes to bleed resistant enemies it’s a better option to switch to occult and hard cap your arcane
What about the claw talisman? hit a jump attack spam on bosses and they die much faster
I have 2 of these and my stats are specced for a mage/knight..level zero scavenger curved swords with his set up of 2 scavenger swords and I'm wrecking stuff in new game plus one .
I use a very similar build with the magma blades, also curved swords but with fire damage..
Fire is probably the second best after bleed, and because all the boosting stuff going on it just does brutal damage..

Lol bruh yes I started with the jump as well and quickly found myself using that running l1 and the powerstance moveset and enjoyed it alot better.
Yeah if I wanted to jump I would use the far more effective twindblade setup from my 3 in 1 bleed god, but I like some more options, this isn't mario, there has to be more to do than jump up and down all day lol

Hey titus! I found that if you go with occult instead of blood affinity on the scavengers, and spec heavy into arcane (80 arc 20 str 15 + 5 dex) you will be far better off, getting an extra 110 raw damage on each sword, and keeping a very similar blood loss buildup, since you now have more arcane. I know that kinda ruins the point of the 4-in-1 blood god thing, but I also think that this is a suboptimal way of utilising the swords since they have inherit blood loss buildup and therefor don't benifit much from the blood affinity as opossed to the occult affinity that increases arcane scaling. I have been using them in the coloseum which is where they shine imo, and they are extremely powerful because of their moveset as you have also said. Please let me know what you think and thanks for great high quality information!

What are your thoughts on going 80 arcane with occult scaling? I get 545 AR pre buff and just above 1k AR with buffs.
There is another video out there that covers this. I think it would hit harder
Yep I covered this in my 3 in 1 bleed god build, definitely occult with peelers and seppuku for my peeler variant for more AR, but on these the bleed affinity is lower so we kind of need the blood passive to proc enough
Hey Titus, could you please help with a few questions? I'm still new to this, never played a bleed build, just watched this and another 3 in 1 bleed of yours. I'm looking into a respec into this, is it still worth it at around level 65 no seppuku but swords, some talismans/armor? It seems seppuku is important but probably won't have it for many levels.
I saw you mentioned twin blades are better for bosses, would this just be a better all around?
Curious as to which would be the best all around variation as I want to just make one to respec initially
I'm also curious about trying out rivers of blood, won't we have FP problems with the low mind or is that one meant for more PVP and less for content or something? I know you added the variations but I wasn't sure about the use cases.
with the 3 in 1 build, all of those variations are on the same character, same stats etc. You just switch weapons and talismans. So I would run Rivers for maybe a fast npc, then switch to dual curved swords or katanas running around killing mobs and exploring for some fun playstyle, then maybe twinblades for a high hp boss, you can just switch to whatever you feel like any time!

hey you might remember me, i’m a bit confused about your explanation about the jump attacks, i’ve been running curved sword builds since the start of me playing this game, i chose the hero class, and i think the jump attack is still really good, as i think it hits either 4 or 6 times. are you 100% sure normal l1 spam is faster? i usually open with a running attack then use jump attacks
No I was saying if you want to maximize damage and do the jump attack setup you should be using peelers or twinblades, they do a lot more damage and a lot more blood loss buildup for that purpose, it is a waste to use these weapons for that setup, these weapons accel as a running attack or l1 power stance spam
I am lvl 50 and almost have the complete gear for the build. It DESTROYS bosses. Tnx for the great tips. GOAT!!

What is better dual wield these swords or katanas?
What is the best way to go if you are first play through and only have one curved sword? I really don’t play online so getting a drop probably won’t happen.

Wouldn’t bandits curved sword with bleed affinity be better overall? They have same bleed but more damage.
