I think Ariana et al have to realize that the Toms are just the face of the bar. They own 2.5% of the company each. They are not majority shareholders. It's not Lisa doing a "power play", she literally owns the bar. The two Toms actually got far more say in the bar than most minority owners actually get, and Lisa tried her best to make them feel involved. At the end of the day though, Lisa has more say because she has the biggest financial stake in the business. She is experienced and has to go with her gut when something doesn't feel right. She may be wrong, but she has earned the right to make the final call. The frozen shots are cool, but if they built it into the bar table, they would literally have to break it apart if the customers didn't like it. Lisa made the right call in my opinion by putting it behind the bar.

As for doing a lot of work for the project, they have no idea how much work the whole project was, from the get go to the finish and opening - no idea.
OMG. What Ariana said at the end made me gasp! We got to see what vanderpump said first about the cost of some of the drinks, as lovely as they were, were just not practical, so they were cut. Then we see Ariana say the drinks were cut because Lisa was just on a power trip! How immature is that Ariana! It's a business and Lisa being a business woman treats it as such. AKA no proven track record to run majority of decisions. Especially since LK has invested millions in building the bar, 98% steak, assuming the risk and proven success of course she and her team will guide the bars decisions. They are getting a FREE education in what it takes from a successful restaurateur making educated decisions vs. whims and taking steps to necessary... they put a little skin in the game, and they will enjoy the "residuals" and am sure once they start learning and growing their "input" will have more impact and the reins will loosen.

They were given creative rights and they did dumb stuff like the diamond cube. Lvp was very tolerant of that. And they have very little shares. My dad had 33% shares and his brothers wouldn't even let him change the decor. The worst thing is my dad was the one at the shop working 24/7 and the two brothers never showed up to work. My dad got the inventory and had to pay the bills and paid for maintenance but still had to share the profits equally. Some ppl can b ruthless as shareholders. So yeah, Ariana your bf is super lucky to have a great boss like lvp. And Tom would never side with Ariana. He would save a male friend or a male stranger over Ariana anytime.

It’s the least coolest, least macho thing a guy can do. They are not dating, nor slept with each other...I don’t get the picture of them kissing. Well, it looks like one of them completely understands the dynamics (the one dating Tom) when she said, “......no matter what, we will always be under Lisa’s thumb.”

Lisa used Tom Tom literally to build another bar for herself and used the guys. She will never give them control over it and likes to keep control over whats in and whats not gonna be used at the bar. They were given creative rights and they did dumb stuff like the diamond cube. Lvp was very tolerant of that. And they have very little shares. My dad had 33% shares and his brothers wouldn't even let him change the decor. The worst thing is my dad was the one at the shop working 24/7 and the two brothers never showed up to work. My dad got the inventory and had to pay the bills and paid for maintenance but still had to share the profits equally. Some ppl can b ruthless as shareholders. So yeah, Ariana your bf is super lucky to have a great boss like lvp. And Tom would never side with Ariana. He would save a male friend or a male stranger over Ariana anytime.

Whenever I see Jax with these two who are out there killing it I can't help but wonder has Jax reached his full potential as bartender at SUR? At least he'll get a good pension though as he'll have racked up 4 decades worth of service in one position at the same place!

I think what Ariana meant was that Liza dogged them around a lot in terms of what type of inclusion so I don’t think she meant she’s better but that she wants Liza to see them as more than bartenders cause her and Tom have shown they are professional hard workers

Absolutely hate the motorcycle sidecar. It’s what clowns ride in and typically the dumber, shorter clown, or a painted dog rides in the sidecar. It’s the least coolest, least macho thing a guy can do. They are not dating, nor slept with each other...I don’t get the picture of them kissing. Well, it looks like one of them completely understands the dynamics (the one dating Tom) when she said, “......no matter what, we will always be under Lisa’s thumb.”

Lisa used Tom Tom literally to build another bar for herself and used the guys. She will never give them control over it and likes to keep control over whats in and whats not gonna be used at the bar. The frozen shots, should been used the diamond ice cubes could have been incorporated. Unfortunately, she has these little digs toward both Tom's, that makes her look bad.

Lisa is using the tomtom brand, practically for free. Imagine if they wanted to open a tomtom on their own, they would get investors in a minute, and they would be sole owners. They are being used. It's business, but no one is doing any favours. Plus, they have NO contract...NOT GOOD..Lisa will reap ALL the benefits..
They should’ve invested more money then. It’s business. And she’d be successful with any bar regardless of the brand.
Oh well...they only invested 50k each which is nothing. If they wanted to have more say they could of invested more money. Technically its Lisa's bar and they are very very small owners of the bar.
My point being, they have made 100k donation and given their identity for free. As of now, no contract, no deal. Lisa is doing fine, just saying, if they had a business advisor who was looking out for their interests this would have been pointed out. This is a vanderpump project using the tomtom brand. There is no legal obligation on Lisa's part.
Please! If it wasn't for Vanderpump rules they would never have been able to open anything. They get paid for being on the show and the did nothing but make drinks for the bar. So, Lisa does deserve most of the credit!
That $100,000 they invested together would not cover the cost of the lighbulbs in this magnificent high end bar that cost millions to build and the decor. They are being well compensated for the $50,000 each investment. Lisa has opened over 30 successful bar/restaurants and TomTom is the number 1 bar in West Hollywood. She knows what she is doing. Love to think I could get a future return of a huge yearly salary from the investment price of a midprice car.
LA isn’t a city known for great food. Plus pizza in LA is awful. Detroit has the best pizza in the country. Even better than NYC.
