Its not that new GPUs didn't have the memo that prices have gone back to normal. It's more like people didn't have the memo that prices are well below MSRP and new cards canot compete.

I'll say both are an issue for sure

Can say my eye closed amd is far superior on native resolution price to performance ration right now, nvidia gpu on same price point will brainwash you with rtx performance with dlss but will never give satisfying native resolution performance on same priced amd, as nvidia user (for last 5 years) I didn't liked amd at first but the way nvidia Going after upscalling & forgetting native performance I have no choice to go for amd as my future gpu😌😌

I am just building a white 1080p gaming PC and try to keep the budget low. Just bought me a new 12GB RTX 3060 Vision OC from Gigabyte for 280 bucks. This will work just fine for the next few years I guess and is a solid 1080p option with Raytracing and DLSS for framerates of 60FPS+ on high/max settings.

Nice, congrats! Sounds like a clean build!

Note, that any Unreal 5 game will struggle with a RTX 3060. Alot of recent AAA game releases have very high requirements and hitting 60fps even at 1080p with upscaling is not possible.

@@lumiereeclair Not really. I tested the latest version of Fortnite on 1080p with High/Epic Settings and with DLSS Quality, it runs smooth and looks phantastic. Yes, there will be more demanding games coming out, but I combined the 3060 with an Intel i5 12600KF and this combination seems to handle pretty much all games I tested very well (on 1080p and even 1440p). Yes, there might be better GPU options out there, but it performs good enough for me to have an enjoyable gaming experience.

I was thinking of getting one but am skeptical about the heat/noise.
How hot & loud does it run ??

@@Never_Wr0ng I have an Asus Dual 6750 XT which is not a high end model by any means and I still can't hear it over my case fans. At full load I have gotten max. 67C in an airflow case.

I have a 6700xt Red Devil and it's awesome 1440 and even 4k if you manage expectations. I do play single player alot so I would like more RT

I want to buy at that range price. Obviously with a great pocket effort. Do you recommend rt6700 xt or 6600 xt? When im gaming, i like more the visual than the fps. I was ps3 top 3 (1) playing Red Redemption I with a broken controller and 1 MB while the others were using lagswitch scripts and modd controllers. So, thats why i like how its look and feels. Thanks in advance. Like your reviews!

For better graphics go 6700xt, more compute power for higher quality visuals

6700XT, the 12GB VRAM is the deciding factor.

I like your channel but you seem quite chilled, no dark vibes so talking about welcome to the darkest corner doesn't gel 😅.
Also, I think comparisons like this would better if you used some newer more demanding games.

Valid points, I meant dark as in like the forgotten bad area lol but again valid point! I will be updating my benchamrk suite soon. However I will include some of these for better long term comparisons. Thank you for your comment

I did this comparison bc a lot of people have asked for it. Also last gen is still kinda relevant atleast compared to new entry level gpus

    Hi Bro,
    I am looking to buy/build a PC
My current budget is 800-900$ (Need only CPU Setup) don't want RGB. I am also looking for a good motherboard which would support future upgrades for RAM etc... And also if I can install a good GPU in this same budget. for 1080p or 1440p resolution whichever works with the budget.
Can you kindly suggest configurations. looking for new components

I hate seeing AMD drop all these cards with good specs at good prices. I Just cant stand AMD graphics drivers. I have had many computers and every single AMD graphic card and APU's all gave me endless driver issues. Personally i think it's Microsoft giving the market a gentle nudge every now and again.. grimey bastards they are. but knowing that doesn't change the fact that i use windows and AMD drivers still don't work properly.
