🇵🇷WEPAA!!🇵🇷 Even though the Puerto Rican Day parade celebrations are on hold this year for 2020 pero!! We still gonna celebrate❤️ I had the pleasure of joining my fellow Boricuas I in celebration of nuestra orgullo De La Isla De Encanto✊🏼🇵🇷 together we celebrated our people, our culture and our Nuyorican/ Boriquen communities near and far ❤️ Here's my live set from Boriquen Day '20. Little back ground about the past event: Borinquen Day 2020, brought to you by Nuevayorkinos and Uptown Vinyl Supreme, is a live streamed programming of artists celebrating the decolonized and liberatory history of Black/Brown/Indigenous culture from the Caribbean island known as Puerto Rico. As proud diasporic collectives, we are providing this offering as a means to amplify the BIPOC community. Today, on Day 20 of The Uprisings, we wave our flags remembering: "Siempre Pa'lante, Nunca Pa'tra" Always Forward, Never Backward for our people!
